Crazy what can happen when you stop being a victim of your circumstances and instead become the controller of your controllables while leaving the rest in God’s hands.

Two years ago there was a pull for more... all I wanted was to have a career in jiujitsu. In a room that would provide space for growth and the ability to positively impact the world around me.

A mission and purpose greater than myself.

As I’m reflecting on what I want the last quarter of 2026 to look like... I realized not only am I coming up on two years since moving to Austin, but the life I wanted two years ago is the exact reality I get to live today.
All while surrounded by the best team in the world. Grateful would an understatement.

Growth never happens in your comfort zone, highly recommend stepping out of yours and seeing what can happen.

Excited to keep pushing and finish the year strong!

Jiu-jitsu has been part of my daughters’ lives for a long time. They don’t train because I expect them to compete or win championships.

They train because I believe in what years spent on the mat can help build.

They learn to do hard things, solve problems, handle discomfort, be disciplined , consistent, give to others, and become more capable.

And just as important, they’re surrounded by strong women who show them what confidence, toughness, and strength look like.

The belts are milestones. Who they become along the way is what matters.
