✦ SALSATÓN FOR COLOMBIA ✦

This time, we meet at Sonnenraum (@sonnenraum.berlin )who opens its doors to us for another edition of Salsatón. Salsatón starded in response to the earthquake that hit Colombia on August 10, 2026, as a collective initiative bringing together people, artists and collectives across Europe and Germany through different events to raise support for those impacted by the tragedy, particularly in regions such as Quindío, Valle del Cauca, Chocó and Buenaventura.

Even as the news fades from the headlines, many people continue to face difficult and uncertain situations. From wherever we are, we can offer support, amplify their voices and keep visibility on the realities they are still living through.

✷ Come dance, connect and contribute ✷

Cayeye (Abya Yala / Berlin) at Kultur Mosaik! 💃🏻

Straight from Berlin’s vibrant Latin music scene, Cayeye brings the energy of Salsa Brava to our stage! Made up of 10 musicians from Europe and Abya Yala, the band blends diverse backgrounds and influences into a powerful and irresistibly danceable sound.

Named after a beloved Caribbean plantain dish from Colombia, Cayeye celebrates community, joy and cultural fusion. Inspired by the golden era of 1970s Latin American music, their sound combines percussion, horn arrangements and tropical rhythms that get audiences moving from the very first note. Their live shows are a true celebration of rhythm, culture and connection.

Get ready to feel the heat as Cayeye sets the dance floor on fire! 😍🔥

🎬 Palestinian Short Films

✨Plus food, drinks, sweets and more! 🍲

Rather than consuming culture, we invite you to embrace & celebrate it together.

❗This culture day is a solidarity event. All proceeds from food, drinks and entrance donations will support community projects in Uganda and communities affected by the earthquakes in Venezuela❗

There will also be the opportunity to get a hand-poke tattoo from @zine.deq.tt at our event, with the proceeds supporting these communities too.

In addition @pins.against.zionism will be joining us with their pins. The proceeds from their sales will be donated to families in Palestine and Lebanon.

🗓 15.08.2026

Entry is donation-based. Give what you can.

Bring your people.
Bring your energy.
Bring your open heart.

Dance until you're sweaty.
Dance with strangers until they become friends.

Life is togetherness.

This event is made possible through collective support – huge thanks to @soundsysters for providing the sound engineering❤️‍🔥
