Supporting our families, building our village 🧸👶

It takes a village to raise a child, and we are proud to stand alongside our community to support soon-to-be mothers and fathers!

At the “We Can Bearly Wait” community Baby Shower event in Hope City Church here in East New York, it was essential to highlight the vital importance of pouring into families from our communities. From practical resources to creating a strong safety net for growing families, gatherings such as these help with the ease of welcoming new life.

A heartfelt thank you to organization heads Dr. Carrington, Pastor Stevenson & First Lady, for their continued dedication to serving the 42nd council district.

Congratulations to all the wonderful parents-to-be!

As a proud product of this community, I am deeply committed to creating opportunities for our youth and paving the way for a brighter, more inclusive future.
That is why it was important for me to stop by Schenck Avenue in East New York to connect with our vibrant community and support local initiatives that bring us together.

A huge shout-out to the Cypress Hills Local Development Corporation and East New York Farmers Market for their dedication and hard work in organizing events that uplift our neighborhood 🫂🙌🏾
