That’s a wrap on the ACE Winter League! 🏆🔥

Huge congrats to Team 3 for taking home the championship last night! This season was a massive success, and we hope everyone had an amazing experience on and off the court.

A huge thank you to our game day coaches, our incredible refs Byron and Stefanee, and an extra special shoutout to Cassandra Brown for stepping in while Coach On recovered from surgery.

To all the parents—thank you for trusting us with your kids’ basketball development, supporting our program, and referring us to your family and friends. Your belief in what we do is what keeps us growing!

Next up… Fall League! Stay tuned! 🚀🏀 #ACEHoops #WinterLeagueChamps #BasketballCommunity

Advice from Cassandra Brown for Tryouts Tonight:

Tryouts can be nerve-wracking, no matter your age. It’s totally okay to feel nervous, but don’t let that turn into fear. Nerves mean you care, but fear will only hold you back. Focus on what you can control—your attitude, your energy, and your effort.

Do the little things that don’t take talent: talk on defense, dive for loose balls, box out, crash the boards, and stay coachable. Trust me, coaches notice those details. Be the player who lifts their teammates up, brings the most hustle, and never takes a play off. Your effort and attitude will speak louder than any made shot.

Don’t stress about being perfect. No one expects perfection. It’s better to make mistakes while going all out than to hold back and play it safe. Basketball is about heart—so show yours. Be fearless, compete on every rep, and leave the gym knowing you gave everything you had.

And most importantly—have fun. Love the game, enjoy the moment, and let your passion shine through. That’s what truly stands out. You got this!

Truly blessed to have these incredible coaches in my life. While I recover from surgery, they’ve stepped up to run my academies and leagues—a huge undertaking! I’m so grateful and fortunate to have them on the ACE team.

🚨 BIG NEWS FOR ACE HOOPS 🚨

Tomorrow, Coach On will be heading in for ACL surgery, but the program won’t miss a beat. The kids are about to experience something special. 💯

We’re lucky and honored to welcome Pro Player Cassandra Brown as she steps in to lead the Winter League practices and run girls academy! 🏀🔥

Cassandra’s Basketball Legacy:
🌍 Pro career across Europe and Australia
🇨🇦 Canadian National Team experience
🏀 D1 standout at the University of Portland and NCAA 3 Point Champion

She’ll be joined by my Coach On’s Aleeya, Okanagan Valley Finals All-Star, to ensure our players get the high-level coaching they deserve. Together, they’ll bring their passion and knowledge to push the kids to grow, compete, and be inspired on and off the court.

This is a huge opportunity for every player to learn from two dynamic coaches who have walked the path. Whether you’re just starting or aiming for the next level, this is your moment to soak it all in and be inspired. But as always, the growth will come to those who show up, stay focused, and work hard. 🏀💪🏽

Thank you Cassandra and Aleeya! ❤️
