Grayson Cook (@gforcectlc_new) was voted by his teammates as this week’s Clackamas XC Athlete of the Week!

The team recognized Grayson for his great performance at the Linfield George Oja Invitational, where he led the men's team with a huge PR and his first sub-27-minute 8K. The team also recognized Grayson as a great teammate, noting that he credited his teammates for his race. Grayson is overall supportive of everybody both inside and outside of running, even helping one of our runners with their math homework.

While a big PR for Grayson in his first race in 4 weeks, he's looking for more as he faces the NWAC Southern Region Championships this Friday at the Pine Ridge Golf Course in Springfield, Oregon!

Thomas Donnelly (@thomas.j.d.19) was voted by his teammates as the team’s Athlete of the Week!

Our team recognized Thomas as our AOW after completing not just his first collegiate cross country race, but his first EVER cross country race. Debuting in the 8K at the PLU Invitational, Thomas broke the 30-minute barrier in his first try with plenty left in the tank. Thomas’ teammates also acknowledged his hard work at practice as he always pushes his limits day in and day out.

Thomas is ready to apply what he learned from the PLU Invitational to his next outing at this weekend’s Mike Johnson Classic in Monmouth, Oregon!
