What happens when you lose the one thing you're known for?

That's the question at the heart of tomorrow's Exploring Faith.

I'm joined by Ccippo Makwembo, a Zambian-born singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and founder of The African Experience.

After a vocal cord injury left him unable to sing for almost five years, Ccippo found himself wrestling with questions of purpose, identity and where we find our worth when it isn't tied to our talent.

If you're a creative, or you've ever had a dream that didn't go the way you hoped, I think you'll really connect with this conversation.

We'll also be playing one of Ccippo's latest songs as he shares the story behind it.

🗓️ Saturday 27th June | 10–11am 📻 Live on Jambo! Radio on the website, the Jambo app and also streaming on Facebook and YouTube

Grab a cuppa and join us.

When the word of the Lord said, “In His time, He makes all things beautiful and that He is making a way in the wilderness
and streams in the wasteland”
He knew what He was talking about.

Privileged to honour my invitation to the 8th Leaders Without Borders International Honours at the House of Lords, UK, on November 22, 2023. As a Business Consultant at Tecia Group and Co-founder of The African Arts Expo, this opportunity is not just an honour but a gateway to global networking and fostering business ties between Africa and the UK.

In the eloquent words of Maltbie Davenport Babcock, 'Opportunities do not come with their values stamped upon them. Everyone must be challenged.'

Embracing this philosophy, I am committed to seizing every moment as I work towards my dreams and aspirations and with this look forward to networking and learning from the best.

The Proudly black and Scottish red carpet gala awards 2023 ✨

@proudlyblackandscottish was such an amazing event first time around, celebrating black excellence and success in Scotland, so I attended this year for the second time to support my friends. The theme of the event was “Harlem nights”.

My close friend @sooprecious won an award 🏆 “Business of the Year” - which made me so proud! And my bestie @lillyofthevalley101 came too.

Amazing photos by @vipfactoryphotobooth and @jack.v.photography 📸
