My #booktour review for Divided by @ccrobinsonauthor is here, thanks to @lovebookstours for having me on the tour

⭐⭐⭐⭐
The best style of book are ones that build you into the main story, ones that take the time to lay the foundations then using the strength of the main characters to show off the strength of the story.

Divided is a post apocalyptic tale of fighting against the suppression of the corporate power constricting the general public as the dictator’s stronghold gets tighter, but it must be worth the fight, the time may well have come for the uprising.

I enjoyed reading this book I felt it was a unique twist on the apocalyptic story we normally get when you normally have some sort of zombified threat lurking somewhere but Divided gives you a story of hope and determination as the voice of the small people unite to fight against the tyrannical regime.

I felt the overall pace of the book worked well and almost felt like I was reading a script of a movie, the intensity builds from the beginning I really enjoyed the writing style CC Robinson utilised with a good amount of pace that carries the story through the book, the intensity builds at the right points allowing the story to naturally grow.
I give Divided a good score of 4 ⭐, an intense story of good versus evil the normal Joe versus the corporate dictatorship, an overall good read that will glue you to your seat, definitely recommend picking this up.

Welcome to my stop on @lovebookstours virtual book tour for the first in a YA dystopian series by @ccrobinsonauthor 🌎🌎🌎🌎🗺️🗺️

This series takes place in the future when America is divided after The Great Civil War into different areas (swipe to se the map). The real history is hidden from people and all is not well. The reader follows several young adults as they take their places in their areas and try not to get in trouble with the government. This series is different from other ya dystopian novels because where the characters come from is not a big part of the story. The characters goal is more of the focus. This is a great start to a series and I’m very interested to know what comes next.

BOOK REVIEW

Thanks so much to @lovebookstours for sending me the copy of Divided by CC Robinson, @ccrobinsonauthor .

Genre: Young Adult Dystopian.

Blurb:

Escape. It’s all eighteen-year-old Marcos Sanchez can think about as he stares at the towering walls of Queenstown in the Federated Republic of America, the ruthless dictator Supreme Commander Martin's stronghold. But with Marcos’s father controlling his life, freedom seems like an impossible dream. That is, until one daring move lands him in a secret labor camp, facing a future worse than death, and he encounters a secret rebel movement – The Underground.

But their rebellion won't come without consequences. Martin and his toadies will stop at nothing to crush the Underground’s uprising, and the stakes are higher than ever. Will Marcos and his diverse group of friends’ determination and bravery be enough to free the camp, or will they too fall victim to Martin’s iron fist?

REVIEW

In Divided, we are taken on a thrill ride through a divided future ruled by tyranny.

If you love dystopian novels, Divided must be your next read. It'll grab you attention and will hold it to the very end and is certain to keep you turning the pages long after you should have gone to sleep.

There's action, with a fast paced, exciting, rebellious storyline, and a great cast of well developed characters with great depth.

The world building is top notch and will keep you fully immersed in this future tale, and I read this in two sittings.

4 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 's from me.

✨Book Review✨

Thank you to @lovebookstours and @ccrobinsonauthor for a #giftbook of Divided.

Review:

This book was so good. I thought is was interesting the way that this world was built. I loved that everyone was divided into different sections. It gave me a mix between hunger games and divergent. I liked that the author was able to juggle 4 different point of views and it didn’t get muddled. It read very smoothly. This was a quick read with short chapters. I enjoyed this so much that I am definitely looking into more books by CC Robinson.

Thank you so much to @lovebookstours and @ccrobinsonauthor for having me on this socials tour.

If you love your dystopian novels, then you have to get your hands on a copy of “Divided”. This book is straight up action packed, in a world that is diverse and filled with tension packed scenes. In this novel you’re dropped into this world where everyone’s stuck in their own section, based entirely on their skin color or where their parents came from. And I’m not talking about some metaphorical divide - we’re talking massive, sky-high walls keeping everyone apart.

The whole concept of “Divided” had me impressed. It’s not just another dystopia story - this one digs deep. We’re talking about fighting the system, uncovering all sorts of crazy secrets, and just trying to grab onto that basic human stuff we all want: freedom, connection, all that good stuff.

We follow four main characters. Each one’s from a different section, and somehow they all end up in this secret labour camp. And let me tell you, they’re trying to pull off something that seems totally impossible.

The pacing in this book? Brilliant. It’s like riding a rollercoaster that never slows down. I was flipping pages so fast I thought I’d get paper cuts! The plot is solid, and it never feels confusing or over-the-top. Everything fits together like a puzzle, and just when you think you’ve figured it out, another surprise hits you. If you’re into the classic YA dystopian books like “Hunger Games,” “Divergent,” all that good stuff - this is gonna be right up your alley.

Bottom line: “Divided” is a total page-turner that’ll keep you up way past your bedtime. It’s fresh, it’s intense, and it’s got something to say. So grab a copy, clear your schedule, and get ready for a wild ride. Trust me, you won’t regret it!

Thank you LBT for having me on this review tour and for my beautiful gifted copy of this book.

I’m not sure where to even start with this read other than it pure amazing. This book reminded of the movie divergent. I loved the setting and the characters and everything about this book.

The concept of this book was amazing. Like we have separate areas for all the different people and can’t talk to anyone else. I mean can you imagine ??

We follow 4 main characters and they some how all end up in the same Labor camp. They get to talking and start to plan something major. I mean talk about a roller coaster of emotions and action and mystery this book has it all. I read this book in a day and a half because I had to know what was going to happen. I really hope this is a series because I need more. I feel like so much more story is left for these characters and I need to know what is next I can’t stop thinking of this book and how the writing is so well done and flows so good.

Divided by CC Robinson.
Book One in the Divided Series.
This was a good read. It did take me a while to get into this book. I loved the cover. I did like the story and characters. I liked the writing style. This is a fast-paced dystopian. It was different. Twisty and gripping. Marcus was my favourite character. There was surprises which i didn't see coming. I did like the ending with the girls. I really do hope there is more to come.

With thrilling action, unexpected betrayals, and a relentless quest for freedom, fans of Marie Lu’s Legend and Pierce Brown’s Red Rising will devour this gripping dystopian series opener.

Review:
I had read the prequel before reading this and I am glad that I did as this made me enjoy this book so much more. I was able to relate to the characters and the world more as I already knew them from Upheaval. The author has done an amazingly fantastic premise and this is the book which has filled the space that Divergent and The Hunger Games did for me in my teens. I will definitely be patiently waiting for the next installment of this as I need to know what happens with the characters going forward.

Impenetrable walls. Ethnic division. A ruthless dictator.

Happy Wednesday, book obsessors! I will never forget what happened 23 years ago. I was a sophomore in high school, and my teacher had the news coverage on. For a while, we came together as a nation. Please remember to hydrate.

Thank you, @lovebookstours, for my gifted copy of Divided by @ccrobinsonauthor in exchange for my free review. This is a YA Dystopian. It is also a first in series.

Usually, I do not like the dystopian genre except in movies. The book was written well. It held my attention. My emotions were on high alert because I felt the emotions of the characters mixed with my own. The plot was good. I enjoyed getting to know the individual stories of the characters and how they came together. I love the multiple pov's. This is a story of rebellion, fight for freedom, and secrets. If you like Hunger Games, Divergent, and Maze Runner you will like this.

📖REVIEW📖

Divided by CC Robinson

💭MY HONEST THOUGHTS💭

I really enjoyed the storyline and concept of this book. It was abit to take in at the start with learning all the characters, areas and then how they all link with eachother, but very well written so it flowed nicely.

I like the way author has described the world building. Marcus and Harriet are my favourite characters, I felt they had the strongest characteristics.

I loved the battle at the end, this had me on the edge of my seat and I was unable to put it down until I had no more to read.

I also love the map at the start as I used it for preference a few times before just seeing it in my minds eye.

📖 BOOK REVIEW 📖
DIVIDED by @ccrobinsonauthor
I really enjoyed this dystopian story of rebellion, secrets, the longing for freedom and the unstoppable force that is the human spirit.
You meet the characters throughout the first few chapters, learn their back story and their roles within the book. With rules, patrols, curfews, walled towns, and constantly under surveillance it’s hard to imagine anyone could possibly escape.
Fairly fast paced, holds your attention as the story progresses. I liked the MC Marcos and his unquenchable thirst for freedom, but also how he tried to protect those he cares about.
Follow the challenges he faces and the risks he takes all for his freedom…. Will he get what he so desperately wants?! You’ll have to read it to find out. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
