🐻💚 Welcome to the Den !!💚🐻 These awesome WMS Grizzly totem poles were created by our incredibly talented PTO Board Assist, Denise Nilson, for this year’s Woodland Spirit Float!! We loved them way too much to let them disappear after the parade, so they’ve found the perfect new home — Woodland’s 7th Grade Pod hangout space! 🙌 We love when a little PTO creativity gets to live on and add even more Grizzly spirit to our school! 💚💙🐻

💚✨Happy National Custodian Day !! ✨💚 Not all heroes wear capes. Some carry keys, plungers, and an unreasonable amount of patience. 😆 We are so incredibly thankful for Erik + Matt and all that they do for our Woodland community !! They are the fixer of all things, the quickest to lend a helping hand and they give our PTO endless support. They keep Woodland in tip top shape and are hands down the BEST custodians around !! They’ve seen things. They’ve cleaned things. We probably shouldn’t ask questions… haha. Erik + Matt — thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything that you do !! We would be absolutely lost without you. 🐻💚 #grizzlypride #nationalcustodianappreciationday #grizzlygrit

💚🐻Back-to-School Night | 2026 🐻💚 What an amazing night full of connection, community + celebration as we get ready to kick off the 2026-27 school year !! We absolutely loved getting the chance to connect with so many of our Woodland families. It’s crazy to think a short two years ago our group wasn’t even a group—we had one parent sitting at a table outside of the school library with a single sign up sheet—‘Join the PTO’. It was the start of something beautiful !! Through hard work, the support of our wonderful community + a dedicated group of parents we are so thankful to have the opportunity to serve our Woodland students + staff. A heartfelt thank you to the following businesses that contributed to our PTO booth today — 💚 @staples — school supplies !! 💙 @target — school + locker supplies !! 💚 @starbucks — coffee gift baskets !! 💙 @traderjoes — gift basket !! 💚 @glitterbug2323 family — movie gift basket !! And to our rockstar volunteers for helping us run the PTO booth !! 💙🐻💚 ✨Gift basket raffle reminder — we will be pulling tickets at our first PTO Meeting of the school year — 09.10.26 @ 5:15pm in the school cafeteria. For those who missed the opportunity to fill out a ticket, you will have another chance at the beginning of the meeting (one entry per household; must be present to win.) Go Grizzlies !! 💚🐻

💚🐻 GLO — Introducing Woodland’s 2026-27 Grizzly Leadership Organization 🐻💚 ✨GLO is made up of a group of select 7th + 8th grade Woodland students and their advisor, Mrs. Lilyquist — our GLO group is already hard at work, preparing for the upcoming school year !! ✨They kicked things off on Monday at McEuen Park for day one of the GLO Retreat !! It was a day filled with team building activities and discussions about leadership—what it means to lead and contemplating what kind of leader they strive to be. ✨Day two took place at Woodland Middle School, where they worked hard, coming together + preparing for their first big event — the 6th Grade Grizzly Gathering (TONIGHT)!! It was a day filled with brainstorming, collaborating + creating !! ✨Keep an eye out for our GLO students (they will be wearing a GLO t-shirt !!)—they will be available to help student’s with ALLLLL the things as they navigate the first few weeks of school !! 🫶 And don’t forget to give @wms_glo a follow for all things GLO related !! 🎥 Enjoy this video from day one of the GLO Retreat !!
