We take the mission seriously. Ourselves? Not so much. 😂

A little behind-the-scenes look at the Board of Rooted Care Institute when the cameras are rolling…and we’re supposed to be acting right.

Building something meaningful takes vision, commitment, and hard work, but there should always be room for laughter, joy, and genuine connection along the way.

Here are a few of the moments that definitely didn’t make the final cut. 🌱😂

Some of the best conversations about vision, impact, and what’s next happens outside of the boardroom, and sometimes over brunch.

I had the chance to connect with the Founder & Executive Director of Rooted Care Institute along with a fellow board member to talk about the organization, the work we’re building, and where we see it going next.

There was plenty of conversation about community, impact, and the future, but as the pictures show, there was also plenty of laughter and a reminder that doing meaningful work doesn’t mean we always have to take ourselves too seriously.

I’m excited about what we’re building, where Rooted Care Institute is headed, and the opportunities ahead to continue creating meaningful impact in the communities we serve.

No performances. No pretending. No masks.

Just truth.

Real Stories. Real Struggles. Real Healing.

Because the story doesn’t end with the wound. It continues with the healing and liberation!
