Not the best meet day but not the worst either. Big thank you to all the Ironside people putting on a sick meet and to @jabonguyen and @beyondbarbellpt getting me ready for this meet. Thanks to all the homies for pulling up and supporting. Shoutout @dpearse_31 and @jpadua.777 for loading and helping in the back room. Thanks to @cdn.sbd and @_nbryanna for recording our lifts today too!!!

Although I didn’t perform the best I had a blast with the boys @isaac__marron @kylealanwalker_90kg @shoonpapi Also first crack at 95 snatch in comp and first meet after switching to power jerks, lots to build on once I’m healthy!!

2/6 Today, Total: 205kg

Snatch:
❌90kg/198lbs
✅90kg/198lbs
❌95lbs/210lbs

Clean & Jerk:

❌ - Declined Third Attempt

I was pain free for the last five ish weeks but unfortunately my right glute injury was acting up again in the back room and I tweaked it on my 118 CJ attempt. Been dealing and working through it for a while glad I can finally take a step back and figure out what’s going on with it and get 100% healthy (or close). We’ll be back though!!!

Oregon States!! 455 DOTS!!!!
1st time competing w/o cutting very nice, very low cortisol
1st 450+ DOTS
1st drug test lol

Went 9/9 with several kilos in the tank still!
137.5 (+2.5 kg ATPR) - squat is still my favorite enemy
90 (+5 kg comp PR) - the yolo lift of the day
157.5 (+12.5 ATPR) ⭐️ of the show, have never pulled over 150

385 kg @ 54.4 kg (+20 kg @ +2.45 kg)
455 DOTS!!!

I started an accelerated nursing program this year. This meet was for fun on springbreak bc I was peer pressured by @cdn.sbd to fly out to Oregon (2-3k miles from home) to have a good time and I’m so glad I did 🥹.

Thank you to @ng82.5 for the dial and to everyone who came out to support or were watching online 🥹🫶 I have never felt so supported for a meet 🥺❤️

More Arnold shenanigans! I never take enough pictures or videos but these were some of the moments I wanted to share.

Saw a ton of people in the community. Met Olympians @marytheisenlappen and @hamptonmorris! Watched my friends @daniel_wiitanen95kg and @polk.clayton on the Rogue Stage! And had a ton of fun and food (after my session 🤣)

Really grateful for all the friends near and far who supported me!

A true joy to experience all of this with @whitpluscats by my side 😍😍

On to Salt Lake! @bexarbarbell
