POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I have another video on the way. It is another introspective video journal. You can kind of guess what this subject matter will be about. Hopefully, some people out there will relate.

‘Imposters Among Us’ is coming late October.

Stay tuned. #filmmaker #director #creator #film

I used to be that one filmmaker and creator who wanted to delete all his old content, content that was so cringeworthy that it would give you PTSD. Now, I realize that those old projects serve as lessons and reminders of how far I have come on my creative journey. I will keep them up as motivation for me to do better. Moral of the story: keep your old projects no matter how bad or amateur they are. Who you WERE is not a reflection of who you ARE. At the same time, the past can be used as a tool to help you unlock more skills and be the best version of yourself in your current journey. Sometimes, to get to where you are going, you must first appreciate where you have been 🎬. #filmmaker #director #storyteller #visionary

Today officially marks 10 years since I have made my first feature-length film and the first film of mine to be at least two hours long. Although I am not at all proud of this project in terms of its writing, cinematography, directing, editing, and even acting, I am proud of the fact that at the sheer age of 15, I had enough guts to make something that I believed in at the time. I appreciate this film for existing because it lets me know now what and where I need to improve in terms of my craft. Thank you to those who have supported and still support me in my filmmaking endeavors. Here’s to many more years of creating. The full anniversary video is on my YouTube Channel. I’m excited to share my latest creative reel. A reflection of the work that’s shaped me over the last year.

Although my foundation is in acting, this season of my career has expanded into me wearing *multiple* hats. Rather than separating those experiences, I wanted to bring them together in one place.

The video features some collaborations with @susie_king_taylor, @creativesafterdark, fiyahbotanicals, @testcardnetwork, @audio_video_club, and Liberty County. Along with many other artists and organizations that have trusted me with their stories. I’m grateful to everyone who’s been part of the journey.

The full reel is now available on YouTube. I hope you enjoy it.

P.S. shoutout to @artemusjenkins I read “How To Be A Dope Artist” and haven’t sat down since then.

It has been almost a week since The Annoyance (2026) premiered, and I would like to give a special shout out to these three amazing women who all did a spectacular job on this project:

My dearest friend, Teresa Roemmich, a strong, vibrant powerhouse and a driving force layered with a wide talent and variety of nuanced emotions that standout boldly. She brings emotional vulnerability and clarity packaged into one deal.

Ms. LaVerne Joseph, filled with warm humor and immense joy that will make you want to laugh with her even on a bad day. You can feel it every time she laughs and speaks.

Ms. Valeria Sutton, adding to Ms. Joseph’s warmth with an extra dose of strong comedic timing that reminds you of a family member adding extra fun at the dinner table. A great balance of humor between her and Ms. Joseph.

I appreciate every single one of them for giving it their all, and I appreciate all of you who have tuned into our project. We are still growing, but if you have not seen it yet, please go on YouTube and watch “The Annoyance (2026)” if you have not already. Also, be sure to like, comment, and subscribe to the channel, “Corey Dvisionary” as well 🎬. Link in bio. #film #shortfilm #darkcomedy #actor #director

One thing I’ve learned is this:

Keep posting your work.

You genuinely never know who is watching.

About a month ago, I received a DM from the Telly Awards themselves encouraging me to submit my work because they liked it from the outside looking in. Then, I get an email saying one of the Telly judges recommended one of my projects into another category because they believed it would do extremely well there.

Today, those same projects became Telly Award winners.

I’m incredibly grateful and honestly still processing it all. What makes this especially meaningful is that these were deeply personal projects. Stories and visuals that came from my own perspective, creative instincts, and experiences.

I never imagined me making two narrative video journals about me going through a quarter-life crisis would hold that much weight to other people.

Thank you to everyone who has supported, watched, encouraged, collaborated, or simply gave my work a chance over the years. And, thank you to @tellyawards for seeing the value in us creators and our art. It truly means a lot. 🙏🏾🎬

This is only the beginning. 🎬

The Test Review by Atlanta After Dark Film Festival

As a filmmaker, I try not to let my insecurities get the best of me when it comes to my works getting reviewed, all the more reason why I appreciate critics, judges, and/or anyone who take the time to watch my work and thoroughly give their honest takes on them. It lets me know that somebody out there is watching. I appreciate the Atlanta After Dark Film Festival for not only selecting my film, but also taking the time to review it and being honest about it. It truly means a lot as I do not usually get a lot feedback or support from others. To every creator, please release your work. You never know who is watching but someone is always watching. #film #filmmaker #director #actor #director
