This is hands down our best meal in Osaka, Japan was here at @maido_wagyuyakiniku , savouring all cuts of beef, seafood and side dishes 😋 Come with your stomachs empty, as there’s so much to eat here! We were already starting to feel full from the whole beef platter, but we had to follow the rules of an Asian buffet and have loads of seafood. For variety, we tried some of the sides too, and we were so full by the end of it we had to roll ourselves back to our hotel 🥴 *Pro-tip: Make a reservation in advance on their website as walk-ins are almost impossible! 📍 MIADO Wagyuyakiniku ⏰ 12PM – 1AM 💵 From ¥4,498/pax (~S$36) Edited by: @joeoelllee Follow @thisisnotahiddengem for more travel inspiration!

Is Katsuo-ji Temple in Osaka really as beautiful as it seems? Surrounded by lush greenery and hundreds of striking red Daruma dolls scattered all around, this temple felt incredibly peaceful and even more beautiful in person. Despite the crowd, it’s still big enough so it didn’t feel too packed — but maybe because we arrived before 10AM. Our favourite thing to do was to collect stamps around the temple grounds, turning the visit into a little adventure while exploring one of Japan’s most unique and picturesque temples. ⛩️ Katsuo-ji Temple 📍 Osaka, Japan 💵 ¥500/pax (~S$4) ⏰ 8AM – 5PM (Sun – Fri), 8AM – 6PM (Sat) *Pro-tip: Buy your tickets online as the physical queue to enter is shorter.
