A little look back at my mentorship journey with @cecesoulfro ! Over the course of our sessions, we worked on developing her braiding techniques, strengthening her foundations and most importantly building her confidence One of my favourite moments was getting to put everything we’ve been learning into practice at a charity event, because there’s so much you can learn through demonstrations. Sometimes, you need to get out there with real people and experience what it’s actually like Today Cece is working in a hair salon and I couldn’t be more proud of her of course 🥹 I can’t take credit for that achievement, she’s the one who put in the work, showed up and took the opportunities that came her way. I’m simply grateful that I got to play a part in her journey But you know what? Even if she didn’t have found a job, I would still consider this membership a success. because for me success isn’t just about mastering a technique and getting a job, it’s about watching someone become more confident in their abilities, believe in themselves a little more and genuinely enjoy what they’re learning And seeing that from transformation in Cece has been one of the most rewarding parts of teaching ❤️ If you’ve been wanting to learn how to braid, improve your techniques or take your skills to the next level, my 1:1 membership might be exactly what you need DM “membership” and let’s have a chat about your goals and how I can help you get there 🙌🏾 #braidscardiffacademy #howtobraid #haireducation #braidingmentorship #braidingtraining

We don’t just teach hair—we build confidence as a team. 🧠✨ Our team did that 👏🏾 When everyone’s hands get busy with the physical rhythm of braiding, the whole room shifts into a shared flow state. Learning something brand new alongside your peers lowers everyone’s guard and builds real trust. Seeing team members step into their power, lead the room, practice public speaking, and guide others was everything. When our team sits down to master a new skill together, the whole room shifts. As everyone’s hands get busy with the physical rhythm of braiding, our brains drop out of overthinking mode and straight into a shared flow state. Learning something brand new alongside your peers lowers everyone’s guard, quiets collective self-doubt, and builds real trust. Team members who used to hold back start stepping up, practising public speaking, and finding their voice in front of the group. We aren’t just learning how to braid as a team—we’re rewiring how we support, communicate, and grow together. #BRAIDSOCIAL #TeamBuilding #Neuroplasticity #Workshops #CommunityFirst

What a special moment to receive this fabulous video from the amazing star Ann Ogbomo. As an incredible actress on both stage and screen, she has previously shared the struggles she has faced with her hair in the industry and I know how much she loves and appreciates her curls! As an avid swimmer too, keeping her curls healthily whilst sticking with her passions are so important. So to receive this video out of the blue as Anne’s getting her hair braided courtesy of @allstars_leeds I was truly blown away. Thank you so much Ann. Seeing you use, share and celebrate our Afro Butter and product range is more than I could have dreamed of 🙏🏽😘🙏🏽 #afrobutter #healthyhair #productfeedback #afrohair #braids
