Great weekend full of medals, PR’s and PR attempts at the Arnold! Ten Philadelphia Barbell athletes competed in Columbus! Chris, Colin and Kristen earned medals in their respective divisions with Colin sweeping GOLD in his first meet as a Junior, Chris taking BRONZE across the board in his first meet with the club and Kristen winning Silver in the snatch and Bronze in the total! Jes, Colin, and Owen set competition PR’s while Abbie and Tony set lifetime and comp PR’s! Both Taylor and Cecilia posted a solid total after a rocky training cycle and Seung fought for some big lifts that went a little differently than expected! Very proud of the collective team effort that went into this meet. Thanks as always to Abby Manning for her logistical and coaching support. Thanks to Patrick for his help coaching and all of the teammates that stayed foe the weekend to cheer and help load and count in the back! #proudcoach #phillybarbell #todayisanimportantday

Cecilia PR’ed her clean and C&J at 96kg on her second attempt at the WSO championships last Saturday! On her third attempt, she PR’ed her clean again at 100kg! The next day, she trained heavy and pushed to a 7kg BKSQ PR at 145kg! She made one snatch, her opener at 68kg, on her third attempt. Always best to follow her example and channel that frustration into bigger weights on the barbell! #proudcoach #shegonnawinthatbet #phillybarbell #todayisanimportantday
