Black creatives are moving into the microdrama space — and they’re not tiptoeing.

Producer Ty Walker (“Die Hart”) is teaming with Isaac Hayes III to launch a slate of high-impact microdramas dropping in early 2026.

Through Fanbase, Hayes’ subscription-based creator platform, the duo is betting on a new wave of storytelling that hits fast, hits emotionally and gives creators real ownership.

Walker calls it “maximum emotion in minimal time.” Hayes says Fanbase is the perfect home.

Either way… this feels like a lane Black Hollywood is about to dominate.

Step away from your phones and come see CEEBS for realz!

Goldspring Youth Centre’s beloved Youth President, Gary the Magpie, has passed away. In the ensuing power vacuum, best friends Zion and Ruby must step up to save their centre from closure. With rapid-fire banter and oversized egos, the duo launch a campaign for Youth President, navigating community conflicts, conspiracies, and cult leader-esque opposition. What begins as a mission to save their centre soon unravels as political differences threaten both their campaign and their lifelong friendship.

CEEBS is an 18-part comedy micro-drama and a love letter to the community centres that shaped its creators, produced for TikTok and Instagram (@ceebsseries). Episodes 1–7 will be screened.

Produced by: Amie Batalibasi & Nikki Tran
Directed by: Harry Lloyd

When: Friday 21st November | 6:00 – 8:30 PM
