Jenn Mason is not only a beloved friend of mine, but she's also a Sobadora de Matriz, Tul'ix Therapist and Teacher @tulixindigenousarts and an absolute powerhouse of wisdom and healing.

She serves her sweet community in San Antonio, Texas, through work that brings together science supported + indigenous based practices to help her clients on fertility journeys, healing menstrual and digestive issues and so much more.

I asked Jenn to join us to share her incredible journey of reclaiming her ancestral medicines and to share her perspective as a Maya woman and healer in the world at this moment in time. We are sooo excited for her session with us on Tuesday 6th October 😊💛

I want you to feel confident offering deeply nourishing foods and drinks to the newly born mamas in your life.
I want you to have a bone-deep understanding of the physiology of postpartum and a nuanced approach to each individual mama in your care.
I want you to feel solid in your pricing and to be in alignment with true reciprocity for your vital work.
I want your food to be YUMMY! Not in an overwhelming-for-the-freshly-postpartum palate but in a wowww-this-tastes-like-a-warm-hug deliciousness way. To have strategies for soup overwhelm and to be factoring JOY and oxytocin in ✨
There's work to be done, I'd love to have you join us 💛

Ive been trying to find the words to express the wisdom and beauty i received in taos with @tulixindigenousarts

It was a remembrance of tending to the body in such gentle and sacred ways. From the Maya Yucatec lineage of don elijio panti and in connecting to my own, we learned. A remembrance of the wise living wisdom of the womb. Her intelligence and her guidance that is always speaking.

It was a receiving of the living prayers of the land, the animals and the plants, in the body. It was tending to our grief through ritual and offerings.

There is so much healing and restoration that takes place when we go gently with our bodies. When we listen rather than force. When we move with the rhythm the body is asking for. Then she can unwind and unravel what has been held.

Im feeling deeply inspired and enlivened by this work. I feel endless life force spiralling through me when i offering my hands in care to the belly, the womb & the body.

Thank you thank you thank you to @samaroceanwolfciprian For your devotion, integrity and deep love to this work 💗 And thank you to all those who have carried it forward so it can land in the hands and hearts of those who need it - and to all the beautiful humans during this time together sharing and weaving their wisdom and unique stories and experiences.

A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to sneak away for a quick visit to Ōhui and the sacred lands of Sky River Sanctuary. @skyriversanctuary

The practical reason was simple. I finally picked up my massage table that was meant to come home with me in February, before Dad died and life changed direction. My Mama Amor cacao from Guatemala had also been waiting there for me. Thank you so much Jenn of @ceiba_wellness

There was beautiful food, loooong car ride singing, friends, long chats and cacao shared together. I remember Samar saying that this particular cacao was good for clearing. No doubt it was also Jenn’s cacao.. 🫶🏻 Your company was so needed @maria.paula.anzola and @samaroceanwolfciprian 🙏🏻❤️

And it seems that Samar and the cacao were right.

The last two weeks have started one big clearing. An emotional release. A deep bleed. Letting go of my treatment room. And now unexpectedly, letting go of our family home too. But creating a lot of place to receive! 🌺

I’ll be offering a lot of cacao to my back yard plants and trees that I have to leave behind when we move. A thank you. A goodbye. A blessing for what comes next.

I don’t really know what the future holds for our home or for my Tul’ix work and the spaces it will live in.

But I keep remembering something a wise healer Dr Palanivel once told me:

“You can live anywhere. An attic or a basement. Mexico or New Zealand, Finland. Doesn’t matter. Because you have a good home in your own heart.”

And somehow, that feels true.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. 🤍🙏🏻

Moments from this night in Gaza, where there is no place left untouched by blood, and where martyrs remain buried beneath the rubble.
Gaza asks the world for only one thing: to look upon it with mercy and humanity, not to send heavy missiles that even reinforced concrete cannot withstand. How can plastic tents protect children from tons of explosives?
Enough injustice. Our children are being burned and torn apart by missiles coming from all over a world that speaks of humanity.
Please, do not leave Gaza alone.
