@ctdeathcollective first ever Death and Dying Symposium at @mattatuck_museum was a success! Thank you @katebagnati @ballen9292 @clguer13 @riverside_cemetery_ct @sara_tinnesz and all the other amazing women behind this event. So glad and honored to be apart of it.
I’ve watched this community start as a little seedling and now has branched out, reaching so many people. It is exciting to see where this is all heading.
The day was jam packed with so many cool speakers and workshops. We had people fly in from Georgia and North Carolina! I’m grateful I got to hear from people I’ve admired for a long time, and others I was not familiar with.
Here’s to more days like this!!

Today is the big day! This symposium has been in the works for years. Huge thank you to the crew at the Mattatuck Museum and the crew at Riverside Cemetery!
If you are in the Waterbury area stop by and say hi! We will be tabling & presenting along side some pretty amazing individuals. We will finish out the night with Death over Drafts from 6-7PM.
Brews donated by Captain Zig, NEBCO, & High Nine!🍻#ctdeathcollective #dancingsouldeathcare #ctdeathanddyingsyposium #MattatuckMuseum #communitydeathcare

Our next artist participating in our Cultural District Festival on June 10th is Becca! Her work with multiple mediums is tenderly created, showing care, education, grace, and curiosity. Check out her work at @storyofanartist as well as her work at @celestialbranches
And be sure to stop by to chat with her on June 10th at the Bristol Federal Hill Green from 12-3pm!

Hi friends! I will be returning to @perkatorycoffeeco in Southington for another Death and Draw community event! Join us as we come together to discuss all things death and grief, while joining in on creating art. There will be a drawing prompt incorporating these topics, but you can choose to make whatever you’d like or nothing at all. We have limited art supplies to provide, so please feel free to bring your own. This event is free and will be laid back and welcoming!

About the space: Factory Square is a hub of local businesses with a public shared longue area. There are cafes and restaurants inside to take advantage of and I will be buying some snacks from Perkatory Coffee Roasters for us to share. We will meet in the lobby where there are couches, chairs, and tables. Please be mindful that this is a public area and there may be other folks present.
(This is not a support or bereavement group. However, we strive to create a supportive environment and safe container!)
If you have any questions at all, please email me at becca@celestialbranches.com

Just some little pieces of life, memes, and a couple things that are happening this month with @ctdeathcollective
We are starting a book club! We will also be resuming our monthly death cafes. The next one will be virtually held on January 19th, at 7pm.
I myself will be vending every Sunday at @rosalindroad in Newtown! Come buy some art or just chat with me 😊
Keep your eyes peeled for some personal offerings that I will be announcing soon ✨💕
