What is the Wellness Collective?

It is people being there for one another.

It is space to move, rest, recover, learn, heal, laugh, connect, and simply spend time with others. It’s familiar faces and new ones. Community partners, facilitators, volunteers, neighbors, and friends.

Over the last several years, thousands of people have walked through our doors or found us within the community. Everything that we have created together is much more than a list of classes and workshops.

It is a community of collective care and accessible support for everyone of us.

This is the Wellness Collective. And we are so thankful to continue creating it together. 💛

The phone booth is on the move! …and it was certainly easier to wheel it there than it was to load it in the truck!

This interactive phone booth is part of our Community Voices exhibition, a companion to the Smithsonian Voices & Votes exhibit at the MARC. Find it @backofbeyondbookshop this weekend!

Have a listen or leave your own message! You make the call!
Share your experiences with democracy, or listen to the stories other people have left.

Pop in the bookstore to see their amazing selection of themed books and grab a free copy of the Utah essay about the push and pull of democracy in the State of Utah.

We’ll be airing the stories on @kzmu.moab after the exhibit is finished, keep your ears peeled for that!

We repurposed this phone and spruced it up with the help of @celiaalario and The Synergy Company.

Voices & Votes: Democracy in America is part of Museum on Main Street, a collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution, Utah Humanities, and Moab Arts.

What a joy to celebrate our OFFICIAL kickoff at the Grand County Fair in Moab UT for 4th of July weekend! Big thanks to Angela and Nic @nicgaddiswyatt and Mackenzie and all the team at @oldspanishtrailarena for your warm welcome! We painted lines of flags to decorate the fair and folks wrote over 100 Love Letters to First Responders. The vibes were festive and friends were made! Thanks again @foliopressandpaperie and Ranger Karen for the stationary and thanks to all who came through. #grandcountyfair #moab #thankyoufirstresponders🙏🏽❤️ #yayforart @moabcity #raptaxgrant

Hi! I’m the Moab Mobile Art Cart and I’m so excited to have my soft launch today at the @wellnesscollectivemoab Mental Health Faire! I don’t have thumbs so I have cool humans taking dictation but here’s what I want you to know about me: I am the Moab Mobile Art Cart (a fiscally sponsored project of the Canyonlands Arts Council) and my team of facilitators and I are on a mission to engage and inspire community through collective artistic expression and meaningful conversation. We envision a Moab where neighbors joyfully create art together, and—as a result—trust, appreciate, listen to, learn from and understand one another better.
Look for us around town and come and play with us! #whimsyforthewin

Thanks to everyone who came out last night to listen and share stories about Beginnings! And we began a new tradition ourselves, with special priority given to folks who are putting their name in the hat to tell a story for the first time on our stage at the @moabarts We had 11 storytellers, 9 of whom were new. That felt special. Save the date for our next slam on June 16th, the theme is Your Voice, Your Vote: Stories of you sharing your opinion, flexing and leveraging your opinions and agency, casting ballots, voting with your feet, voting with your dollar, speaking out for what matters to you! Have ideas for a theme? Message us! We’re crowd sourcing themes! Wanna emcee? Let us know! Feeling nervous about how to prepare to tell your story. We’re here for it! See you in June #Moab and we love you! And thanks to our amazing producing partnership with @moab_library and to @moonflowercooperative for snack support!
