You know when you see the perfect color yarn but need to wait for the perfect project to show it off? That’s how it went for me with this gorgeous rust-red from @mrb_birdstreetyarn when I saw it a few months ago. I couldn’t stop thinking about it and I’m so excited to finally get to use it.

I love that this shawl gives it so many different way to be show off, in stripes, mosaic colorwork and all by itself

Another knitted bralette design by lovely Céline from @celine.knits

I really enjoyed this test knit, as always with Céline tests! This #SpeedyRacerbackBralette is just as speedy as name states, I've knitted it in 2 weeks, taking few days off this pattern during this period. Knitted with @malabrigoyarn Sock in 120 Lotus, so 100% merino wool, held double it is a dream! Nice, dense yet soft fabric and gorgeous marl of blue and purple makes it a great piece in my wardrobe, one I definately needed!

Pattern coming to you soon!

This project has been such a breath of fresh air for me. I spent all winter knitting stockinette and I was ready for something with texture and color and that makes me use my brain a little bit. This is my first ever shawl and I can’t wait to see how it goes!

ERYSIMUM SHAWL

Have you been on the hunt for a beautiful and engaging shawl pattern to knit?

Whether you have or not, I would highly encourage you to check out this new shawl pattern by @celine.knits!

I had the privilege to tech edit this pattern. Besides an amazing design, Céline put much thoughtfulness and detail into her pattern in a clear and understandable way.

You are bound to enjoy knitting from this pattern! ❤️

Description of Image: A shawl of lace, stripes, and mosaic knitting is held against a stone background. Pink, gray, and white are the colors this shawl was knit with.

Posted @withregram • @celine.knits Say hello to the Erysimum Shawl!

She’s really fun to knit, and with loads of squishy garter stitch has great texture.

She’s also great if you’re new to Mosaic or Lace knitting. The motifs are fairly simple, and are both charted and fully written out.

Knit her in 3 colors of fingering weight yarn as written, or get creative and use up some scraps and minis!

I used 1 skein each (400 yards per skein) of Explorer Knits + Fibers Denali Sock, in the colors Lone Wolf, Nutcracker, and Timber.

Pattern is now available on Ravelry and Payhip 🥰

Big thanks to Hannah (@worksofour_hands )for tech editing, and to Kyla (@spaceneedler ), Jean (@kenny_knits ), Missy (@yarn_oops ), and Tina (@prismhandiworks ) for test knitting!

✨I n s p i r e d✨

Cast ons for daysss.

I’m trying something new. Typically I knit exclusively. One large project. One pair of socks. But in 2023 I felt stuck. So last weekend I did *my* unthinkable. I cast on two sweaters, swatched for a third, and turned a sock heel in way I haven’t touched in well over a year. These are all projects, or fibres, I’m looking forward to making and working with. It makes me so happy.

I’m excited to work on my first fingering weight sweater (3.0 mm needles 😬) and start working through my new @tinyhumanknits sock yarns.

Projects include:
Semper V-neck by @the_knit_purl_girl
Jón by Lopi
Woodruff Turtleneck by @celine.knits
Vanilla socks with @tinyhumanknits yarn

#woodruffturtleneck by @celine.knits is now available! I have such high praise for the pattern, yarn, and test knitting experience.

The fit I was able to get from this pattern is perfect. The finished piece is wearable, versatile, and flattering. I don’t want to take it off!

I used @woolfolk_yarn Tynd that I got on sale awhile back and mmmmmmm this is what Hedoknits is all about. Incredibly warm for a fingering weight, was absolutely decadent to work up, and finishes with a gorgeous soft halo, sans cashmere.

Finally, the test knit was one of the best I’ve ever participated in. We had plenty of time to complete it, the pattern was nearly perfect to begin with, the tester group was drama free, and the designer was responsive and incredibly supportive. She never made anyone feel inferior or unimportant. All of our thoughts were thoughtfully considered and never disrespected. Thank you, @celine.knits.

Meet the #woodruffturtleneck by @celine.knits

I had the absolute pleasure of testing this design out.
Celine really focuses on fit and it shows!

I made a size 2 body, size 3 arms, and added bust darts.
Don’t worry, there are instructions and charts to breeze you through the size modifications.
Celine does all the math for you!

It comes with 3 neck variations, though most of us picked the iconic turtleneck. The chevron cable was just too cute to pass up!

Only mod I made was to shorten the body length so it hit closer to my waist.

Yarn is @urthyarns Harvest fingering in Rubia
Picked it up from my LYS @heatheredyarnco
