Some new work today for @theatlantic @theatlanticcomms — in my world Saturday is Dad-urday, a weekly ritual that has shaped my life for the last 8 years or so in a really profound way. I am careful with what I share about my kid online (like a lot of parents) but the team at The Atlantic were so respectful and caring in their work on this piece. I especially love the @celinelkw illustration — though my daughter has now begun campaigning that her depiction in the illustration as sitting up front in my car should have real-life ramifications. Anyway, read it at the link.

4/5 I love imagining the kitchens and/or drawing spaces of everyone who takes part in my live videos for @stillherestilllife and I feel like there are always small wonderful hints in the illustrations. Perhaps there’s a new project in that - draw me your kitchens!!! Will revert back with a proper brief…I hope you all enjoyed this sweet recipe - it will be available in the upcoming Still Here Still Life book (link to buy in their bio) alongside two other recipes from me and a whole host of incredible illustrations. Thank you all again!

Can’t tag the 1st video but it’s by the amazing: @boboillustration

We are so excited to announce that work from our Folk Beasts project is being showcased at The Longwood Centre for the Visual Arts in Virginia!

We are so proud of this project that saw 1700 free art packs, designed by 17 different artists, being distributed to our community during the pandemic.

This exhibition will feature the beautiful artwork that makes up the packs, plus will show examples of what has been made by artists from across the UK. Massive thank you to all artists involved in creating these inspiring and stimulating creative activities.

We are so grateful to our wonderful collaborators The Golden Thread Project - whose love and knowledge of all things folklore inspired this project.

Huge thank you to the wonderful team at The Longwood Centre who decided to celebrate this project with our very own Folk Beasts exhibition - all the way in Farmville Virginia, USA!

Longwood is an amazing centre for Visual Arts that acts as an anchor for their community and also provided thousands of free art activities during the pandemic.

They will be reprinting a handful of our artpacks to distribute to their community... we can't wait to see the Stateside beasts that are created!
