💙💛 Foundation Academies is heading to Philly for #BMEC2026! ( @centerblacked ) Our FA Leadership Team, Talent Team, and Educators are looking forward to attending the Black Men in Education Convening—the country’s largest and most impactful gathering of Black male educators. We’re excited to connect, build, and learn alongside educators and leaders who are strengthening the national Black teacher pipeline and creating opportunities for the next generation. This year’s theme, “Rooted in History: Constructing the Next 100 Years of Education,” invites us to honor the legacy of Black educators while working together to shape what comes next. At FA, we’re proud to join this conversation about the opportunities we can create and the futures we can build for our scholars. Joining us in Philly for this transformative weekend? Mark your calendar and connect with FA at: 🎳 The Networking Social: An Evening of Connection 📍 Liberty Lanes at Philadelphia Marriott Downtown 📅 November 14, 2026 🕢 7:30–9:30 p.m. Let’s share ideas, strengthen connections, and keep Building Futures—together. 💙💛 #BMEC2026 #FoundationAcademies #BlackEducators #BuildingFutures

My first year at @centerblacked's #BMEC a few years ago, I met @akil_lateef during one of his presentations. Being at that convening made me realize just how important it is for us to gather in community, AND how we need to be intentional about recruiting our Black boys to be teachers, the way we recruit them for sports. 100K less Black teachers is insane, and more has to be done to get us back in the class. (Btw, this year, the Black Men in Education Convening is from November 13-15th in Philly. I hope to see y'all there). 🚨If you wanna see the full convo between me and Professor Parker, comment MATH. ➕✊🏾 #BMEC2026 #BlackTeachers #BlackMaleTeachers #teachersofinstagram
