POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Earlier this year Titus Cañete attended the National Geographic Explorers Festival and the opening of the National Geographic Museum of Exploration in Washington, D.C., joining Explorers from around the world for a gathering rooted in science, storytelling, conservation, and discovery. 🌍🌎🌏

🌊 As a 2025 National Geographic Wayfinder, Titus was invited to speak with this year’s new Wayfinders, sharing space with an inspiring group of Explorers whose work spans communities, ecosystems, and disciplines across the globe.

👥🇵🇭 The gathering was also a meaningful opportunity to reconnect with fellow members of the National Geographic Philippine Hub, meet new and longtime Explorers, and spend time with collaborators and friends working across different projects, including the engineers and innovators from the Exploration Technology Lab.

✨A special congratulations to Dr. Krithi K. Karanth, the 2026 Rolex National Geographic Explorer of the Year. It was a privilege to share a table and conversation with her, and to be reminded of the power of grounded, community-centered conservation work.

🎉👏 Congratulations as well to all the new Wayfinders and Explorers. We are grateful for the conversations, reunions, and new connections — and excited to bring that energy back into our work in the Philippines.

Places change.
Beaches get busier. Forests grow quieter. 🌊🌿

Palawan still holds its raw, untouched energy.. and we don’t take that lightly.

₱200 from every shirt supports conservation efforts in partnership with Centre of Sustainability PH, helping protect Palawan’s wildlife and forests.

Wear the message.
Live the responsibility.

Keep Palawan Wild. 🤍🌱

Grateful to host @centreforsustainabilityph here at Neighbors & Nomads for a meaningful Talks on Tap session. 🌿

Conversations about protecting the Palawan Pangolin, conservation efforts in El Nido, and the power of community reminded us why spaces like this matter.

Good conversation.
Great community.
Purpose-driven gatherings.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, listened, and cared. 🤍

If you’d like to hold a talk or community session at Neighbors and Nomads, get in touch with us.

Entering the new year in love with my role in community as a storyteller, a story container, and story doula. Unearthing and releasing untold stories is my top favorite activity in this life … it’s the Sag Sun and Aqua Venus in me 🐚😌✨ Following this calling to bear witness and reflect back is so much bigger than a career path in film. It is a practice of honoring each connection as a sacred infinity.

Dedicated to share more about these stories I’m lucky enough to witness and help hold 🏺🫖
