Little morning trip to kick off October 🍂🎃

We were in Old Wethersfield this morning at @heirloommarket for breakfast and coffee ☕

Then we got to go visit @centrestageservicedogs scarecrow on Main St 🦮

Got to show off the new @shopstrangetails leashes that we've been loving! I have a hands-free adapter and multidog attachment that makes it much easier to walk these two at once and have a hand to reward them for good choices 💛

Three days, two locations, fifty nine dogs, one cat; all for the benefit of Centre Stage Service Dogs! I had such a fantastic time last weekend photographing so many pets. ALL proceeds from this event went to CSSD to support their mission of raising, training, and placing medical alert service dogs.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us to support, as well as Tails-U-Win and Main Street Creamery for hosting us!

Missed out on this event? Keep an eye out for more pop up pet portraits this fall!

Can confirm. Having friends with dogs who enjoy being around your dogs is the BEST! What’s not the best? Struggling to find somewhere to meet up with long-distance besties when you both have dogs. Fortunately, Sniffspot exists and gives us the perfect way to spend a beautiful end of summer day together - out in the fresh air with our dogs, enjoying each other’s company while our dogs play together in a safe environment!

Don’t forget that you can get $5 off your first booking by using the code DOGGY5OFF!

August flew!

What a month it’s been. At the beginning of August, I had the chance to attend the Duffield Service Dog Symposium with friends and enjoyed time in Ithaca. Hanging out with Astro was such a treat and he was the best boy ever both days. Since then, we have been dealing with Sugar having an upset tummy (probably all that romping in the Maine water). She’s finishing up some medication and special diet and finally, almost back to normal! Despite it all, we have enjoyed end of summer walks and naps. Just the best 💐

I’m home! 🐾

Mom and Dad can’t believe how much I learned in just two weeks or the incredible foundation Jackie and the @centrestagedogtraining team built for me. We’re all so thankful for the time, patience, love, and hard work they poured into my training.

I was a little sad to say goodbye to my new dog friends and my new human friends, but I was so happy to come home and be back with my bros! Thank you, Jackie and team, for helping us through this next part of our service-dog journey! ❤️🐾🦮

Eight months old and already taking my job very seriously. 🐾💚

Here I am practicing two important tasks: helping raise Mom’s legs and applying pressure to support her when she needs me. My trainer says I’m doing a great job and Mom is incredibly proud of her smart little boy. 🥹

Just look at that focus! I’m still young and have plenty left to learn, but I’m working hard every single day. And the best news? I come home this Friday! 🏡🧡

Our floating Massachusetts summer is coming to an end and it sure has been a good (& incredibly busy) one ☀️ Its so good to be back up here and be so much closer to our family and friends! I truly cannot wait for what this autumn will entail for our little family 🥰

Chilling with my trainer, Jackie from @centrestagedogtraining, practicing “pressure” out in public and looking pretty darn cute while doing it, if I do say so myself! 🐾

Last weekend we headed up for a last minute trip to the Vermont Summer Festival and Benson got to experience the horse show life! There were so many great experiences for him including seeing horses, walking on bleachers, crating and tethering in new places, hearing speakers and clapping and cheering, going swimming for the first time, and making lots of new friends! I am so impressed with how well he took everything in stride and how easy he was to travel with. Being adaptable is such an important skill for a future service dog and he aced it on this trip!

An extra special thanks to the team @jesswindhurst for taking the best photos. How cute is he?!
