STOFSPOOR ADVENTURES
The First Trail

I reckon a man ought to spend less time worrying about the days ahead and more time making the ones he's got worth remembering.

So we saddled up. A handful of good souls, our steel horses, and a whole lot of roads waiting ahead.

And me? Well, I had Stofwolf.

He ain't made of flesh and bone. His heart beats with fire, his blood runs with oil, and his hooves are made of rubber.

But I'll be damned if that machine ain't got a soul.

He carried me through dust and open country, though the stubborn fool even decided to lie down beside the road.

But I reckon a good horse ain't one that never stumbles. It's one you pick back up and keep riding.

By sunset, we'd gathered more than a few stories and a little dirt on our clothes.

And I got to thinking.

One day, the tyres will wear thin, the engines will fall silent, and these roads will be nothing more than memories.

But time can't take the laughter of good friends, the feeling of an open road, or the stories we made along the way.

So here's to the first trail.

And to you, Stofwolf, my faithful steel horse.

You may not have a beating heart, old boy.

But you sure as hell make mine feel alive.

Until the next trail.

There’s a new future coming 😅

@ian_rall_316 and @travisteasdale69 brought something bigger (quite literally) to the event this year by each competing in the Bronze class on their adventure bikes. Ian rode his @ktmsouthafrica 390 and Travis took his @cfmoto.sa 450 MT over the finish line 🏁

It was incredible to see these machines being put to work in the Maluti mountains ⛰️
