THE MUSIC BUSINESS. 🪝 The old model is dead. @itshollis and the HOOKED panel just laid down the absolute reality of the 2026 music environment. Chad’s right: you don’t need anything but a phone, an internet connection, and maybe a van to take your sound to the world. We might sound like a broken record telling you to get on TikTok, but the proof is in the data. There are countless artists breaking out of their bedrooms just by singing into their phones. If you’ve got real talent, the world is waiting — stop crying about the industry and start connecting. Are you using your phone to build an empire, or still waiting for a record deal? Drop your verdict in the comments. 👇

CONNECT OR DIE. ⚡ The HOOKED panel just dropped a massive truth bomb on David Slayton @warplayofficial. At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter what you’re doing if you can’t go on the internet and connect with an audience. @itshollis pointed out the unfortunate reality that we are forced to focus on TikTok and Instagram, but @chadhillydilly shut down the excuses instantly: “If you’re crying about that, don’t be an artist.” This is the new world. It is a connection economy. You either adapt and build your audience, or you get left behind. Are you building a real connection online, or still complaining about the algorithm? Drop your verdict in the comments. 👇

SMOKE AND MIRRORS. 💨 @chadhillydilly just tore down the entire illusion on the HOOKED stage at @the_eighth_room. Forget the executives and the gatekeepers. The music business is mostly smoke and mirrors. The only metric that actually matters is your raw connection with your audience. Everyone else can shut up. Do you agree with Chad, or do you still need the corporate machine to truly scale? Drop your verdict in the comments. 👇

YOU HAVE THE VOICE. NOW, MAKE THEM LISTEN. 🎙 @chadhillydilly just dropped a cold, hard truth for @johnmajormusic on the HOOKED stage. In an industry full of artists with major deals who can’t sing, having a genuine, undeniable voice is your greatest competitive advantage. When you can actually sing, you stand out. The path to connection is through a video — you have the tools, you have the voice, now it is time to capture the audience. Are you using your talent to cut through the noise, or still trying to fit the mold? Drop your verdict in the comments. 👇

BE A PRIZE FIGHTER OR QUIT. 🥊 @chadhillydilly and @lancegoodman1520 just delivered a brutal truth bomb to @bennett.a.keenan on the HOOKED stage. Trying to be an artist right now is a complete waste of time unless you are willing to fight for it. You cannot just be good anymore. You have to be excellent. You must tell a compelling story, connect with the audience, and pull from pure intuition. Is the music industry only for prize fighters now, or can a casual artist still make it? Drop your verdict in the comments. 👇

YOU DON’T NEED SPOTIFY. 🚫
@itshollis just laid down the cold, hard economic truth on the HOOKED stage. The reality is simple. You are never going to make any real money there, and thinking you absolutely need them to survive is the biggest lie independent artists are fed. The panel might be completely divided on this one, but the numbers do not lie. Is streaming officially a dead end for independent artists, or is it still a necessary evil?

We need the timeline to lock in a side. Drop your verdict in the comments. 👇

I WANNA BE JOHN MAJOR. 🩸 @chadhillydilly asked the most important question an artist can face on the HOOKED stage: Who do you want to be as an artist? The answer from @johnmajormusic was absolute: “I wanna be John Major.” He has been writing songs since he was eight years old and knows his music is exactly where it needs to be. Now, he is just looking to talk to the right people and is willing to do whatever it takes. @itshollis built this platform for exactly this reason: to put artists who know exactly who they are in front of the people who can change their lives. Are your songs where they need to be, or are you still finding your voice? Drop your verdict in the comments. 👇
