Our next installment of Oribital Acoustic Series brings Musician’s Guild to the Listening Room on Thursday, November 19th!

Musician’s Guild is a 13-piece whimsical folk ensemble based in Leicester, NC. Comprised of strings, horns, pump organ, percussion, and an 8-person choir, the many parts come together like a village celebrating the change of the seasons. Their songs elicit a sense of magic by inviting you to look closer, listen deeply, and rejoice in the subtle rhythms of wilderness. With songs ranging from gaily and rambunctious to somber and reverent, their music tendrils through the various landscapes of sound and human experience amidst the natural world.

This ensemble is led by Charlie Boss and includes Hannah Heiser, Sophia Corinne, Miranda Garbe, Lyndsay Brummel, Alex Henderson, Korntey Schwartz, Ellison Graham, Clay White, Shane Justice McCord, Al Letizia, Laura Steenberge, and Libby Rodenbough.

Join us for an evening of unamplified sounds in the round! Tickets are available now at AyurPranaListeningRoom.com.

Croz Boyce tour with two of my best friends, whom I look up to and am so grateful for. I cant believe how fortunate I am. Thank you @geobriensystem @aaaveytttare for an unforgettable experience. I saw so many new things and met so many cool friendly people. Thank you to everyone who we played with, to everyone who came to listen, to everyone at every venue, and @tmwrk @dominorecordco everyone who helped put the tour together, everyone who graciously hosted us. And geez these guys are good at DJing a 150hr roadtrip! I had fun the whole time, even at the god forsaken Baymont hotels, and even when we found out Haribo factory doesnt offer tours. I cherish it all. Id do it again in a heartbeat. My dudes, Im sorry you can no longer say “This is Adam’s first tour.” but Im so stoked to credit you with my first tour - and one of the greatest experiences of my life ✌️

🌟🫂
sharing some sweet sights & sounds from the Sham tour of the southeast US last week! Shane’s music is pure creativity that pours out of him in such a beautiful way, i feel so lucky to be a part of this project whenever our stars align. he & Charlie are incredible musicians and even more incredible humans. their amazing new album comes out later this month, and there is a lot more in the works from this project 🌟

it was very special to share these shows with Croz Boyce (slides 7 & 8) - Geologist & Avey Tare of Animal Collective accompanied by Adam McDaniel of the amazing Drop of Sun Studios. these people have each made a huge impact on modern underground music & yet they are humble, kind, and continue to search deep within to express themselves in new innovative ways 💞

I love living in Southern Appalachia and being with the river, my friends, and listening to their exploratory river-influenced songs 🦎🦎🦎

More from the 2023 archives, from my first show shooting at @thegreyeagle to the hallowed canyon walls of @redrocksco I spent much of this year staying out late and flying perhaps a little too close to the sun. I managed to snap these beautiful artists before my wings melted. Love yall, thanks for hangin around. ❤️

@chajbo took some photos @_dropofsun_ with @c_linmiller

Whosoever Will is out now and started from scratch this weekend in Asheville. @zo3eee @kale.b @alexrolpho and Colin all played parts that became the song. Finished it this year with @earwormfarmer recording my vocals that @soundwithsofie matched beautifully with her harmonies!! Then @wilcalll came in at the last second and added pedal steel to give it that twang <3

Album out next month so excited to show you what we have been scheming 💗💕😎💥📢🫶

“Strange motion is something that keeps surprising us.”

From staff writer Abby Jones: “i26connector abide by a we-don’t-take-ourselves-too-seriously philosophy that seems to keep their creative process relaxed and grounded instead of self-destructive. They’re best friends who just so happen to love each other’s musical ideas and will only keep doing this shit as long as it’s fun.

Their debut tape sounds way more bold and vivid than what you might expect from a home recording, with explosive songs that relay existentialism through Biblical and spiritual references, or deceptively peppy bangers about the aftershocks of an environmental disaster like Hurricane Helene. i26connector are worth every listen if you like Carolina alt-country, long drives, basement hangs, and your guitars loud.”
