Melting away tension one layer at a time—because your shoulders shouldn't be sitting up by your ears like earrings. 😉✨
Whether we’re hunting down pesky trigger points, sinking into deep tissue, or unleashing some proper myofascial release, every session is built to get your body out of fight-or-flight mode and into full-on relaxation.
Your body carries a lot of weight. Let’s leave the heavy lifting on the table, not in your back.

Real talk: one massage won't undo a year of stress. 💆🏽 The body responds to rhythm. When you come in regularly, we're not starting over each time — we're building on the work, going deeper, and teaching your nervous system a new baseline of ease. Your body remembers. Give it something good to remember. 🙏🏽

Your low back isn't tight because it's broken — it's tight because your glutes have been on strike. 🌞
This is where we hold everything: stress, old stories, eight hours of sitting. Deep, intentional work through the low back and glutes releases what's stuck so energy can flow the way it's meant to.
Healing hands, sacred space, and full permission to let go. Richmond, VA | Link in bio to book

To me, private practice isn't just about business—it’s about community. Every person who trusts me with their body becomes part of a deeper network of care. 🕊️
This month, a trusted partner spoke on his personal experience in my space. The ultimate takeaway? Consistent relief.
Watching the synergy happen between what I offer and what @chalkbackstrength brings to his clients’ wellness journeys is pure magic. Alignment hits different when the whole network wins. 🌀✨

HIGHLIGHT REEL!
•
Yesterday we participated in the @liftpd annual LiftOFF. The LiftOff raised over $37,000 to provide free exercise for people diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. I am endlessly impressed with Jake Rowell and his team’s ability to provide well run and meaningful events. Thank you to everyone who supported, volunteered, and lifted with our team.

“But no, low and behold, as my poetry grows
I give all glory to God as the story unfolds
And the gray hairs that grow on my head will show
Ain’t no time limit to get it, you ain’t never too old…” - J Cole

“It’s simple… right?
As a PT, your job is just to help people move better.

Except it’s not.

It’s coaching.
It’s listening.
It’s catching the hesitation before someone even says “that hurts.”
It’s making movement feel safe again.

It’s getting people to do the exercises they don’t want to do…
and helping them get back to the ones they love.

And here’s the part people don’t see—
having the time to actually do that.

To slow down.
To pay attention.
To build something real with the person in front of you.

That’s the difference.
That’s the work.

It’s not just about movement—
it’s about helping someone reconnect to it.

Yeah… it’s “easy” to be a PT.
And I wouldn’t trade this work for anything.

Hip opener stretches are great for improving flexibility, mobility, and relieving tension in the hips. Here are a few effective hip opener stretches you can try:

1. Butterfly Stretch
- How to do it: Sit on the floor with your feet together and knees bent out to the sides. Hold your feet with your hands and gently press your knees toward the ground. You can lean forward slightly to deepen the stretch.
- **Duration**: Hold for 20-30 seconds.

2. Pigeon Pose
- How to do it: Start in a tabletop position on your hands and knees. Bring your right knee forward and place it behind your right wrist, with your right foot angled toward your left hip. Extend your left leg straight back behind you. Keep your hips square and lean forward to deepen the stretch.
- **Duration**: Hold for 20-30 seconds on each side.

3. Lizard Pose
- How to do it: From a plank position, step your right foot to the outside of your right hand. Lower your hips toward the ground, keeping your left leg extended behind you. You can stay on your hands or lower down to your forearms for a deeper stretch.
- **Duration**: Hold for 20-30 seconds on each side.

4. Frog Stretch
- How to do it :Start on all fours, then slowly widen your knees while keeping your feet in line with your knees. Lower your hips back toward your heels, feeling the stretch in your inner thighs. You can support your upper body with your forearms or keep your hands on the ground.
Hold for 20-30 seconds on each side
