Two weeks is not enough time to get over the post camp blues, I miss my camp fam and all the VIPs in it

The zip line isn’t the only attraction, but it’s definitely a fan favorite! @champcampfun was awesome last week, and we know the campers are already looking forward to next year. How awesome is it that a camp for trached kids exists?!

CHAMP Camp is SUCH a special place! We had 5 campers there from Tendercare this year. A group of office staff went to visit on visitor’s day and it was amazing to see all these kids getting to have adventures away from home with their friends.

Hi friends and fam! Is anyone free this Sunday?

@champcampfun is looking for 3 more volunteers to help with moving all of the campers into the cabins. It is heavy labor with pulling wagons & moving equipment but you get to be part of the magic that is Champ Camp & it’s truly so special! Camper arrival day is like nothing else!! I will be there helping!

It’s at Bradford Woods in Martinsville, IN & you would need to be there by 11:45 am Sunday 6/14. We’d be there for a few hours. Let me know & I’ll pass along the info, but I’m also tagging our Executive Director Jamie Cox Mitchell here too along with other camp admin 🤗

Beautiful celebration of life for the sweetest girl 💖💜 Everything was so perfectly her to a T — even the treat bag tables brought back memories of our camp snacks. We love you so much, Charlie, and will miss you more than words can say 🥺😭🥰 The sleeve on my camp shirt says “Live Life the CHAMP Camp way,” and Charlie truly embodied that every single day. Our CHAMP Camp family will keep her spirit alive by continuing to live that way too. Sending so much love to Charlie’s family, friends, and our camp fam — holding you all close in prayer. Memory Eternal, beautiful Charlie♥️🙏🏻✝️😇

Eeeeeekkkkk!!! It never gets old getting the welcome to CHAMP Camp, Inc. email!!🥺❤️😍🥰 Year 17 with the organization & this summer will be year 16 attending camp, can’t wait!! What started as a volunteer opportunity, as a UIndy OT grad student, has turned into something I can’t imagine my life without!!

Do you know any girls ages 6-15 who have a trach, on a ventilator or require some type of respiratory assistance? We have 2 spots available for campers on our girl's side right now: one for ages 6-11 and one for ages 12-15. If you know of someone who might like to attend camp, please let our ED Jamie Cox Mitchell know so her/the camp staff can contact them soon!
