Last week’s record is now back in the sleeve and what a week it was. We had so much fun both vending and just being party people at some really lovely events. Shoutout @scott_zacharias @socialstudiesnight and @sojourn_boston. Conversations about the craft inspired an edits and remix section. We met some new friends from far off places and are still bringing in new material at all times. Ready for another rotation? Make those appointments and keep spreading the good word to those special DJ friends that you know and love. It’s working!

Sojourn Presents: Tsuruta & Chaouki Alba Sojourn’s fall season continues with Japanese-Lebanese artist Tsuruta. Tsuruta’s journey as a DJ has been propelled forward by his consistent curiosity - from experimenting with modular synths in his father’s studio to dedicating himself to learning and sharing dance music’s history through his time in record stores. This curiosity has birthed a singular style: an eclectic fusion of 80s and 90s electro, techno, new beat, and house - fit to capture your imagination and inspire movement.   Welcoming us into the night is Sojourn’s own Chaouki Alba. Through percussive deep cuts, moody atmospheres, and the analogue warmth of the ’90s, he shapes the opening set as a slow, deliberate arc - drawing the room closer one moment at a time and setting the dance floor in motion for the journey ahead. @soundlogic_boston will be returning with the sound system that unlocked something special in the room at our last gathering, and sparked more than a few dance-floor epiphanies along the way :) Early-bird tickets are available now through the link in our bio or the RA app. See you soon on this side of the river ;) 🎨 @jesse.veasey_

There are many annual parties I look forward to in boston every summer, @socialstudiesnight porchfest in jamaica plain certainly not being an exception. This year’s installment did not disappoint. From it just so happening to be on @design.by.alfredo bday, to seeing all the neighbors get down on their nearby porches, to hearing @dj_frantic and @cutwoes new 12”s on a finely tuned system, to watching @_manny_underground sneak in a couple jungle tunes to scare the rain off, all the way to @smadadian incredible landing of the plane with a bad bunny send-off at the end, this is the type of feel good party that all of us needed. Boston summers are short but we sure do our best to make the most of em 🔥🔥🪩🔊

The beloved @socialstudiesnight summer tradition is back @jamaicaplainporchfest!
