✨️Saturday Shoutout✨️

I wanted to do this yesterday but I ended up with another migraine that defeated me last night 🤣

But i didn't want to miss the opportunity to showcase some amazing girls!!

Since starting my bookstagram I've been able to make so many friends and connect with so many people. I have been doing some reflection this past week and I honestly don't believe my love for reading would be where it is today if it wasn't for the bookish community and most importantly you guys!

I'm so thankful for each and everyone of you and if I could fit everyone into a post I would! You guys are who keep me going and ill forever be appreciative for the friendships and community we continue to grow 💜💜

A special mention to those in this post, thank you for always supporting me! I'm horrible at replying to messages but please know, your support never goes unnoticed or unappreciated 💜💜

🖤Moody Stack🖤

The fabulous @pages.until.midnight tagged me to create a moody stack and I thought today would be the best day to post it. I’m moody because it’s daylight savings and my kids have not wanted to go to bed at night, it’s Friday and I’m just done with the week 😂

❓What’s your mood today?

Tagging a few bookish friends to create their own moody stack 🫶 No pressure of course.

-ORANGE AND YELLOW-

Ohh the brightness this stack brought my Thursday is unreal! I love that I can now get a decent little stack happening with my yellow and oranges books, they seem to be the most scarce colours on my shelf.

-Which colour books do you have the least on your shelves?-

Thank you so much to the wonderful @steamy_chapters for tagging me in this colour duo. It’s so beautiful and bright, I just love it. Please take a sec and check out their page too, they have some amazingly glorious stacks and flatlays to admire.

Books that I used to create this stack,

Please Dont Go by @e.salvadorauthor

Wild Eyes by @authorelsiesilver

Glow of the Everflame by @authorpenncole

Tower of Dawn by @sarahjmaas

Of Flame and Fury by @mikayla_bridge

Foxx by @authorpaisleyhope

Love, Theoretically by @alihazelwood

A Court of Silver Flames by @sarahjmaas

Keeping 13by @authorchloewalsh

I would love to see your yellows and oranges, no pressure of course.

-NEON/HIGHLIGHTER STACK-

How freaking cool are these colours together! This was so the best idea and I have @_chapter35 and @pages.until.midnight to thank for this one. Please spare a moment to check out their gorgeous posts, I just know you’ll love them too.

Thank you so much for the tag loves, this one has been incredibly fun to make and brought such a cheeriness of colour to my heart. It reminded me of simpler times when highlighters were all the rage in school and we’d colour the tips of our hair and colour our nails in these bright and beautiful colours.

-Are you a highlighter of quotes and words or do you prefer clean pages with your physical books?-

Books that made my neon stack,

A Court Of Wings and Ruin by @sarahjmaas

Do you have any neon books to build a stack of flatlay with? I’d love to see them. Now pressure though.

Happy Saturday! It’s a beautiful day in Melbourne today, and even though the week hasn’t been the best for me, I’m going to be out in the sun today enjoying the weekend the best I can ☀️

The beautiful @steamy_chapters tagged me to create a stack with my favourite sprayed edges. Now this was a hard one, I have so many favourites, and I’m terrible at choosing just one 🫣 I narrowed them down and went with the ones with gorgeous detail and colours.

From the top -
🌙The Ballad of Fallen Dragons
🔥Thorns & Fire
💜The Stars are Dying
🤎Rites of the Starling
🧡How Does It Feel
🃏One Dark Window
🩶Silver & Smoke

❓Do you see a favourite in this stack?

Tagging a few book lovers if they would like to create a stack with their favourite sprayed edges 🫶 no pressure.

🌈 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿! ✨

How is it the 1st of September already??! This year is flying by and this month is bringing so many incredible releases! I’m sorry pre-existing TBR 🤣🫣📚

So I figured what better way to start of the month than with a rainbow stack inspired by the amazing @mybookishhyperfix ! 💕

Now whilst my reading taste tends to lean heavily towards the darker side 😏 I still love my shelves having beautiful pops of colour 😍

I’ve tagged some besties to showcase their rainbow stacks but as always no pressure! 💕

🖤💘Pink Ink by Avina St. Graves 💘🖤

Hello my name is Dory and i suffer from short term memory loss . ( it’s actually concerning at this point ) 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

The fact i forgot to tell you about this book is criminal . My bad . Also can’t promise it won’t happen again . 😂

I absolutely smashed this read , the troupes had me sold .

If you love a forbidden romance with a
Unhinged MMC that’s so obsessed while the FMC is fierce and puts him in his place . Then give it a whirl . 👩‍🏫

I’m a sucker for a strong FMC .

Thanks again @chapters.tea.and.me for this book , you have good taste !! 🤪

𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀!✨💕

This weeks edition of Flatlay Friday is all about showcasing the beautiful naked covers of some of my gorgeous special editions. 👀

I’ve been inspired by so many beautiful besties for this trend and finally got around to posting this line up. And aren’t they just stunning! The ones with the character art have me obsessed. 😍

I may be a little late to the trend as I took these pictures a month ago and then forgot to post them.😅🫣
