❓who’s that Pokémon?
I’m not really a “Pokémon person,” but this tag from @shona_reads_in_devon is so fun! I really loved the tv show and gameboy games as a kid (I’m dating myself…).

Eevee has always been my favorite (not that I know many Pokémon), so I thought I’d go with one of her evolves. 💁🏻‍♀️😅

Tagging some folks, but as always, feel free to join in 🫶🏼

A Series You’d Recommend to Anyone

Okay, anyone that likes well written stories, good plot, bloody battles, gods above and gods below, and above it all- a woman fighting for what’s hers.

I loved this series!!! I’m tagging some people for a series they’d recommend to anyone!

💙 What’s a book you’ve been recommended a lot but haven’t picked up yet?
👀 If you’re a tea drinker, what kind of tea do you start your day with? If you’re a coffee drinker, how do you take your coffee?

☕️Match my drink ☕️ FLUFFERNUTTER edition

Thank you to the absolutely lovely @steeleboundbooks who tagged me in a match my drink stack … well technically it was supposed to be an energy drink matching challenge but I don’t really like energy drinks 😬 …please don’t hate me!!🫣 what I do love is stupid amounts of coffee tho!

And when I saw that Dunkin was doing a fluffernutter latte I just knew that was the drink for this stack! As someone who grew up on the delicacy that is a peanut butter and marshmallow fluff sandwich (also lovingly known as a fluffernutter) I was over the moon excited! Plus fluffernutter is just fun to say! fluffernutter fluffernutter fluffernutter! See!!!

I will say it wasn’t until I was fighting for my life as an adult trying to describe this sandwich to other adults that I realized that not everyone knew about fluffernutters 😅

I mean if I walked up to you today and asked you for a fluffernutter what would you say? Would you know what I was talking about? (I’m asking more so because I need validation that more people grew up with this sandwich😅)

Anyway I think I’ve maxed out how many times I can say fluffernutter in a single post before it gets a bit ridiculous so that’s all folks!! 😅

(Also I love that in this stack you can clearly see where I stopped when reading Oathbringer😅 as I’m a proud spine cracker…it’s like an external bookmark )

QOTD: what is your favorite childhood meal ??

QOTD 2: Are you an energy drink person? Or coffee? Maybe tea?

Tagging some peeps to match drinks but as always no pressure 🥰🫡🫡

Meet Me in 5️⃣ Challenge 📚

Thanks to @home.iswherethebooksare for tagging me in this fun trend! I’ve enjoyed seeing everyone’s picks and getting to know people beyond the books, so here are a few things that make me smile across books, films, TV, music, games and musicals.

Let me know if we share any favourites - I’d love to know what we have in common! 💚

Tagging a few people to join in the fun, but no pressure at all. Selfie-style image of a man standing in front of packed bookshelves. A green speech bubble graphic reads “Meet Me in Fives”. A small “No Shelf Control” sign and a LEGO Star Wars model are visible on the shelves.

☀️My July TBR☀️

PLOT TWIST…I’M NOT DOING ONE🤗

There are many reasons as to why I decided not to plan out a tbr this month, I’m tired of my mood readerliness getting in the way of me reading books that I said I was going to, I’m putting a lot of pressure on myself to read books I don’t want to be reading, I’m losing joy.

Honestly the list goes on and on. I decided to say goodbye to a planned tbr for one month and see if my reading numbers go up or not. I’m honestly overwhelmed with the expectations I have been putting on myself to get books read I think you all will enjoy hearing about rather than prioritizing what I actually want to be reading.

So for one month, I will be picking random books off my shelf to read. They could be ARCs, they could be finished copies, I could even just read a library book. This is about me putting what I want to read first and hopefully 😅 you all will enjoy this wild and slightly unpredictable ride with me.

I will be updating you all on what I read next so stay tuned and thank you for joining the chaos that is my page and my brain. I’m happy to have you here🫶🏻
