When you’re competing at an elite level, the small details matter. 🔥🔥

Our ambassador, Charlotte, putting in the work on our AxIT Force Plates with Tom 💪🏊‍♀️ @strengthbynumberstech

Performance testing helps build a clear picture of Charlotte’s strengths, identify areas to keep working on and track progress over time - using real data to help guide her training and get the most out of her performance 🚀

Always great having Charlotte in the clinic 💙

Swimmers: you’re probably underestimating strength training. 🏊‍♂️💪

Many endurance swimmers like @charli_bowmer spend hours building fitness in the pool. But many spend very little time building strength.

The result?

As fatigue sets in, stroke efficiency often drops.

Strength training won’t replace swimming, but it can help you:
✔️ Maintain technique longer
✔️ Improve force production
✔️ Build tendon capacity
✔️ Reduce injury risk

I use force plate testing with swimmers to identify specific strength deficits and help guide gym programming. Rather than doing a random collection of exercises and hoping for improvement, we can target the areas most likely to improve performance.

For long-distance swimmers and triathletes, strength isn’t about getting bigger.

It’s about staying efficient when everyone else is slowing down.
