No Time to Travel?
Limited Days Off?

Don't worry! I can feel you!

I have a full time job (that I love) and limited holidays allowance per year (26 days of vacation leave).

In 2023, I visited 12 countries and managed to save 8 days of my leave and do the carryover to the beginning of this year. How come?

Some Tips - don't forget to SAVE!

🗺️ I opt for shorter travels. This helps me to travel more often and to keep my energy / motivation levels high during the entire year.

🗺️ I work during many public holidays and use these days as days in lieu (Polish labor law allows for it). This allows me to 'gather' extra days off and also not to travel during the most expensive seasons.

🗺️ I do not say 'no' to extended weekend trips abroad. 3 days in a new place? Why not!

🗺️ When possible I do travel and work from home, especially when visiting our home in India or my sister @azassistentevirtuale in Italy (the annual allowance might be limited but often possible).

🗺️ I have fun in "countries" hopping. E.g. when we visited Montenegro in January we did a day trip to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

🗺️ Business trips, another great option to explore the world, when possible!

🗺️ When travelling for work, how about extending the stay and visiting another place or staying in your connection place for a few days? Ideal if no commitments to return fast home.

🗺️ Connecting flights: have you ever used your connecting place as a mini holiday spot? That's how I spent 19 hours in the Abu Dhabi meeting @justgowithamreen last year!

Tell me your thoughts, and share more ideas! 🗺️

I love summer...
Yet, winter can be so beautiful!

My best moments in Prague! Loved it 💞

Who likes ice-skating as much as I do?

A place you should not miss during your trip to Montenegro.

Incredible views. So peaceful.

And the best part?

That was January! Winter travels can be warm in Europe!

Goodbye Winter! ❄️

All I need is... summer ;)
Ok, spring will work too! 🌱
In fact, today it felt like spring! For the first time!

It is my 2nd winter in Poland after our relocation back from India. 🇮🇳
And even if in the previous winter I was here alone with the Little One, this one is a more challenging one.

Simply: too long (snow from mid November). 😵‍💫

So with this post comes my request... winter stop! ⛔
I can meet you in the mountains! But at least give us a break now! 🤩

Who is joining me in this wish? 🌟

My name is Kasia, yet my account says Chasing Life Moments. Why?

I love new cultures, new places and new views.

We try to benefit as much as possible from having homes in two different corners of the world: Poland and India.
However, believe me, sometimes it is not so easy.

My passion? Travels.

My addiction? Coffee.

My love? My Family.

How about you?

Hugs,
Kasia

5 Reasons to Visit Montenegro in the Winter

1️⃣ Mild warm weather: 10-20'c during the day, our average one was 16'c daily with warm evenings! ☀️

2️⃣ Views: incredible, the views in Montenegro are really unique 🏞️

3️⃣ Less tourists: a perfect gateway for non summer months 🌤️

4️⃣ Food: too good, I loved it! Especially seafood, fruits and wine! 🍷

5️⃣ Cats: if you love cats, that's a place for you! 😃

Do you need more reasons to travel to Montenegro?
Or would you add anything to this list?
