Adding some more photos to @musebloom’s collection around our exhibition that was a collaboration of many parts and of so many brilliant people, as I wander into the new year thinking about all the lessons I learned from 2025. What a joyous thing making this exhibition has been, but there is a lot I have had to understand and work through about being a disabled curator (or disabled person) making work around our lives and work within institutional frameworks. I’m very grateful to colleagues, friends and peers for steering me through a very difficult year in which I learned what it means to make work around a subject so close and to be kind to yourself in the process. For every wise and generous conversation I had around the table, or with a cuppa, with those who helped me out of the dark and helped to navigate these waters, thank you, you know who you are, solidarity always.

How to make an exhibition… laughs, love, flexibility, an amazing team of techs and conservators, fabulous artists and designers, advisory groups, flower pressing, and a bass track easter egg for a vibrating bench.

Thank you thank you thank you

The Affordable Art Fair isn’t just about beautiful artwork, incredible artists and thoughtfully curated stands; it’s also about the people. Huge shoutout to everyone who visited our stand, to our awesome (and hilarious!) neighbours, our wonderful art friends who lent a hand, and the absolute legends on the AAF team! 💥 What a treat they all are!
And, of course, to the friends and family who popped by to show support (check out Anne Levine’s lovely family in slide 10!). Cheers to all the incredible people who made this fair such a blast, oh and the cute doggos.
