The vineyard stay in Provence I'd book again tomorrow 🇫🇷

Waking up in a French family estate, surrounded by vines, felt like stepping into another era. Not a hotel — a home. Thoughtful details everywhere you looked, the warmest staff around every corner, everything feeling personal instead of polished.

It's elegant without feeling overdone, historic without feeling stuck in the past. Genuinely one of the most unique stays I've had in France — and I know I'd notice something new every time I came back.

📍 @chateaugigognan

📌 Save this for your Provence trip:
— Château Gigognan in Sorgues — a working family vineyard you can actually sleep in
— Book the wine blending experience while you're there (I bottled my own Châteauneuf-du-Pape 🍷)
— Mornings among the vines beat everything

My honest take: if you want Provence to feel like a dream instead of a hotel stay, this is it.

Would you pick a vineyard estate or a city hotel for your France trip? 👇

Domaine Billaud-Simon – Chablis

A glass of wine.
A room among the vines.
The scent of lavender in the air.
And nowhere else to be.

The sound of the crickets in Provence is just as inebriating as the scent of lavender.
When Paige and Andrew contacted me to assist with their wedding at @bastide_des_lavandins we only had 5 months to make this happen and we did. It was a meaningful and heartfelt gathering of dear friends and families. The weekend unfolded with a wine tasting and lunch at @chateaugigognan on their first day followed by welcome dinner at @grandhotelhenri and culminating with their union at La Bastide.
Thinking of planning a destination wedding on a short notice? It can be possible 🌸
