Special moments from @justhallel engagement party.
I first met Hallel at @adielofisrael house party, that I was only invited to through @chayadancemovement cause I didn’t know anyone from that circle, just yet. I was just starting out in my Social Media journey and meeting all these really cool people. I remember thinking how kind she was, and her deep love for Israel and Jewish People. And what I admire the most about hello is that although we can have very different opinions, it never stops her from growing a friendship and from showing kindness and respect. I wish her so much joy and love on his journey. You’re gonna be a wonderful mom. Mazal tov ❤️❤️

Yesterday marked three years since October 7. I vividly remember going to Haifa in the early days of war in 2023. I was with my friend and we were talking about how beautiful each person was at the Nova festival. Our age. Frozen jn time. “And it didn’t really matter anyway,” we said in unison. “They’re all gone.” As women we spend our entire lives shrinking. Punishing. Torturing our bodies. I remember having such clarity in that moment. That I’m just a soul. That every beautiful person will be remembered JUST for that. And somewhere after all the funerals. All the missiles. The destruction. We forget. Forget the lessons tragedy teaches us. Go back to restricting ourselves. Stepping back on the scale. Holding our arms over our stomach because we gained happy weight back. Trying keto three times. Speaking vitriol to the mirror. But yesterday was a reminder. Life is so precious. It can be so short. Enjoy every minute. It’s a gift. Do it for those that cannot. That’s what it means to be an Israeli. #oct7 #bodypositivity #aliyah

I was nervous posting this video. Which doesn’t make sense. I’ve lived here for three years. My dad was born here. He lived in a house on land my great-grandparents bought when they build Tel Aviv. But- my story has gained national attention in the US. And with that- comes fear I’ll be seen as less for being a Jewish woman. A proud Zionist. But- something I’ve learned the last three years. Is the harder they try to twist the truth. Distort facts. The harder we have to fight to be brave. Because we saw what happened on October 7th. We know how much we avoid war. Despise tragedy. We are not a death cult. We are a people built on life. And when we said #neveragain we meant it. #amyisraelchai #oct7
