ST. LOUIS, THIS ISN’T GOODBYE. ❤️🏀

I’ve been trying to find the right words for this, and honestly, it’s hard to put into words what St. Louis and this basketball community mean to me.

Coach Griffin Training is officially moving to Dallas.

This is one of the most bittersweet decisions I’ve ever made. I’m extremely excited for the new journey ahead, but at the same time, my heart is heavy knowing I’m leaving a city that has given me so much.

To every player I’ve ever trained, coached, mentored, encouraged, or simply had a conversation with — THANK YOU. You may not realize it, but every player has played a part in my journey. Watching you grow, overcome obstacles, chase your dreams, and become better players and people has been one of the greatest blessings of my life.To every organization, program, coach, team, parent, and person who gave me an opportunity — THANK YOU. Every gym I stepped into, every team I coached, every player I worked with, every win, every loss, and every lesson helped shape me into the coach I am today.

I wouldn’t be Coach Griffin without St. Louis.

This city gave me opportunities to learn, fail, grow, lead, and become the coach and person I am today. And I will forever carry those lessons with me.

Now, it’s time for the next chapter.

Dallas, I’m coming with an open heart, a willingness to learn, and a hunger to become the best coach I can possibly be.I’m excited for what God has planned for me. I’m excited for the players I’ll impact, the people I’ll meet, the organizations I’ll learn from, and the opportunities waiting for me.

Leaving is emotional because St. Louis will always be home.

But I want everyone to understand one thing:

I’m not saying goodbye. I’m saying SEE YOU LATER. ❤️

The relationships, memories, lessons, and love I’ve received here are coming with me. Coach Griffin Training may be moving to Dallas, but the foundation was built right here in St. Louis. To everyone who ever believed in me, supported me, trusted me with your player, opened a gym door for me, gave me a coaching opportunity, or simply encouraged me when I needed it most — I will forever be grateful.
DALLAS LETS WORK!🏀🔥

Thank you @drewhanlen for conducting an amazing camp at CG Hoops! Drew made sure he helped every single camper in attendance, and gave the kids game-like tools to becoming a better all-around player! Drew gave an impressive speech on resilience and what it takes to be great day-by-day. As the top basketball trainer in the world, his impact on basketball runs very deep, and we were happy to have him run this camp! We also had an amazing seminar from @continuedfight on how consistent hard work and surrounding yourself with the right people can take you to heights you can’t achieve on your own. Ben Newman is the perfect example of taking ownership of your daily habits and changing the trajectory of your entire life! Mental Toughness is the key ingredient to any successful athlete or business person, and Ben lives that thoroughly every day. Lastly, but certainly not least, we had @dharp100mh give an incredible speech on her road to becoming an Olympian. Her journey wasn’t the smoothest, and even her own family didn’t believe in her dream, but she made everyone get behind her and follow her to the top. She never quit when everyone told her to. She worked 3 jobs while also trying to compete in the Olympic trials. Nothing was going to stop her from achieving her goals, and she is the perfect example of someone doing everything it takes to be great.

👨🏾‍🔬 The Shamgod is an elite move when done right looks good to the crowd and confusing for defense. Done wrong and you will get benched. For the crafty however, here’s some ways to use it as a setup to complete a different move. 🧙🏾‍♂️ Learn the mechanics and add to your 🎒#GSAmedia #ShootingDrills
