For a long time, Ada Clams (Adode ) was undervalued. Aprapransa was hardly seen unless on occasions. Today, we give it a new stage while keeping its old wisdom. Now, thousands can boldly say they have tasted it through @maamles_kitchen_food_project

For this year’s #WorldFoodDay campaign with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations @fao under the theme “Innovate Today, Nourish Tomorrow” I chose to spotlight two hidden gems: Adode (Ada Clams) & Aprapransa

Our indigenous foods are not outdated. They are ahead of their time. They ARE innovation. Why do we roast corn for Aprapransa? Because our grandmothers knew the secret to lasting strength. 👩🏽‍🍳🇬🇭

Knowledge is our most valuable ingredient. By sharing what we know, we nourish tomorrow. ✨

For International #CoffeeDay, @FAO Regional Goodwill Ambassador for Africa @chef_binta celebrates African coffee and the women and men behind every cup.

Discover the flavours, stories and communities that shape African coffee and ❤️ this video to show some love to coffee producers.

Every dish has a story. And every journey is an opportunity to discover it. 🌍🍲

Food brings us closer to the people, cultures and traditions that make each destination unique.

On #WorldTourismDay, @FAO Regional Goodwill Ambassador for Africa @Chef_Binta reminds us of the importance of gastronomic tourism in celebrating local food traditions, supporting rural livelihoods and protecting biodiversity.

From farmers and fishers to the communities preserving recipes passed down through generations, the people behind our food are at the heart of every culinary experience.

Next time you travel, explore the local flavours, discover where your food comes from and celebrate the people who make it possible.
