“Supermarkets aren’t selling food—they’re selling merchandise with an expiration date! Ever wonder why fruits ripen too fast, bread lasts forever, and ‘fresh’ products have preservatives? It’s all about moving inventory, not feeding you real food. Stay sharp! #FakeFresh #ShelfLifeScam”

One product - one sauce, surely it’s impossible right? Well, Parsley coulis may sound bodacious and fancy, but it is that simple. Take some parsley, blanch it, blend it up and its done! You can easily add olive oil, garlic and other herbs and spices to spring up the taste, but even without them, you can use this coulis in many different ways! Satuaeed veggies, Whole wheat pasta, morning sourdough and much more. Remember this trick next time you go to your local food market. #easyfood #healthyeating #locallysourced #parsley #freshpeoducts #guthealth #culinaryexperience #foodlover #locallyfocused

Garlic - Nana’s perfect medicine.

Packs a punch, doesn’t it? If you are looking for medicinal properties or a vampire repellent, garlic is the answer. In all seriousness, garlic is a long time helper for your overall health in general and, specifically gut health.

Garlic Helps you regulate and balance the fats and reduces the risk of blood clots. It has powerful anti-infective properties and is awesome at fighting bacteria, viruses and fungi. The allicin in garlic encourages the production of white blood cells, which are important for preventing inflammation and infections. It also inhibits and neutralizes enzymes that are essential for bacteria and fungi, including Candida. In addition, studies show that taking garlic together with vitamin C is effective in treating flu, colds and respiratory diseases.

Furthermore, It helps prevent and treat parasites in the digestive system
Garlic acts as a natural antibiotic against parasites such as intestinal worms, protects the lining of the digestive system and speeds up the digestive process by stimulating the secretion of digestive juices.

Here you can see our chef using garlic for a nice, middle-eastern Shaksuka. Comment down below if you want the full recipe! #garlicpowers #healthfacts #guthealth #foodmovement #locallysourced #healthyeating #culinaryexperience #foodlover #didyouknow

This is fire-kissed food at its best.

No shortcuts, no gimmicks—just an eggplant, open flame, and deep, smoky intensity. The charred skin peels away to reveal a rich, velvety texture that carries every bit of that fire-roasted depth. A drizzle of good olive oil, a spoonful of thick yogurt or sour cream for balance, and a hit of fermented chili to cut through with bold, complex heat. Salt, pepper, and nothing else needed.

This is rustic cooking at its purest—earthy, unpretentious, and packed with flavor that lingers. If you’ve never cooked eggplant like this, you’re missing out on something elemental.

Chili lasting over a year in storage AND having great taste? That’s remarkable. Check out how it’s done with this recipe:
Dice the chilli peppers in a food processor, when done add to a bowl and mix with salt (100 grams for every kilo), put in jars and date them. Make sure to mix every 3-4 days. After about 30-45 days, it will be ready, but remember, the longer you wait the better! #fermentedfoods #fermentedchilli #foodphotography
