An unforgettable night rooted in culture, craft, and connection.

Last Monday, I had the honor of hosting Chef Night at The Kitchen House, where I built a menu inspired by Puerto Rican flavors, elevated through the lens of Bull & Bear techniques. What made it even more special was working directly with the beautiful produce from their garden—letting the ingredients truly guide the story on every plate.

From soil to plate, every dish was a reflection of heritage, precision, and creativity. The energy in the room, the collaboration, and the support made it a night I won’t forget.

Truly grateful for the invitation and everyone who came to experience it.

This is just the beginning. 🔥

Orlando Sentinel announces June as the 2026 Restaurant of the Year.

June is a highly-regarded, modern Mexican restaurant in Orlando’s Thornton Park neighborhood, known for its wood-fired cooking, fresh ingredients, and contemporary take on Yucatecan cuisine, with a focus on gluten-free options, no seed oils, and minimal refined sugars. BEST BITES 2025: It’s that most wonderful, and agonizing, time of the year. A time for me to reflect on 12 months’ worth of eating then reduce it to 12 superlative bites. This list is the cumulative result of mind-flavor remembrance and thumb-swiping endurance but couldn’t be possible without plenty of cloud storage. So, here they are – 12 of the most memorable bites I’ve enjoyed this past year.
