12 years ago, becoming a boxer felt like a dream that might never happen. I wanted it so bad … but at the time all I could do was settle for taking classes.

Fast forward to this year… I didn’t just train. I stepped into the ring. I DID IT , I became a Amateur Boxer 🥊☺️

Now … after everything that’s happened with my blood clot, May-Thurner syndrome and recovery there’s a HUGE possibility I may never compete again. And while that hurts LIKE HELL I’ve realized something…

God LET ME LIVE THE DREAM 🥰

22 year old me would’ve been so proud. She wouldn’t care how long the journey took or how many obstacles came along the way. She’d just be happy AF knowing we made it.

So if that was my first and last time stepping into the ring … I’ll forever be grateful that I got the chance. Some dreams are fulfilled in ways we never expect, and I’ll never take that blessing for granted. 🥊❤️ #LLCB 🕊️

So much love to my @superbadacademy family … Shoutout to the coaches who gave me a chance and helped me along the way 🧡 @ljharrison7 @joejeezy313 @mightyjoe313 @best.yet.1971 @madeindetroit1990 @fitgods___ , ALL MY TEAMMATES 😘 I LOVE YALL🥊 & everybody who has supported me!! Yall mean a lot , more than you know!

May had a little bit of everything.

new moves being made, nights out with good people, games, golf, time in the mountains, and moments that actually felt real.

just trying to build something meaningful and enjoy the people around me while doing it.

Grateful doesn’t even cover it… thank you to my family, friends, and everybody who’s been supporting me on this journey. It really means everything 🥊

Especially with the start of “After The Bell w/ Shawni” 🎤… it’s taking off better than I could’ve expected.

Last night at Trilla Gives was a reminder of how powerful this sport 🥊 and community really is …nothing but love 💕 and good energy in the room.

Now it’s my turn… come see me step into the ring for my amateur debut 👀🔥
