I wasn’t going to post these birthday pictures because they were not what I had pictured my birthday pictures to look like.

I had planned my birthday this time around soo much because for the first time I really wanted to dress up, look my very best and have a cute dinner with friends and take some of the very best pictures I’ve ever had. Everything was going as I had envisioned until the floodgates of heaven decided to open up that same day.

My “amazing pictures” went down the drain and it left me feeling everything had been ruined. All my plans had been ruined because the rain fell. This was how I felt until last night.

Scrolling through the day’s gallery and realised I had let one small part of my plan feel like everything was ruined which is nuts because that one detail should not account for the much amazing experiences I had and the life I live.

The family and community I have been blessed with is nothing short of beautiful and I just may have taken that for granted.
