I grew up here. Getting to cook here, build a team here, and share a piece of this place with everyone who walks through our doors is something I’m proud of. There are so many people across this region growing, cooking, preserving, and creating things worth paying attention to. I hope this gives more people a reason to come experience it.

To our team: thank you for the work that happens every day, often without anyone watching. The care, the repetition, the pride in getting something right. This belongs to everyone who has helped build Native.
•
To our farmers, producers, families, friends, and everyone who has pulled up a chair – thank you for believing in what we’re doing and giving us the chance to keep doing it.
•
And to the MICHELIN Guide, thank you for coming to Greenville and recognizing what we’re building.
•
Proud of our team. Proud of this place.

God I love it when the critics get it right! @nativefinediner is one of North Carolina’s newest Michelin Guide Recommended Restaurants. @cheflukeowens, @styled_by_bo, and the rest of the Native team couldn’t be more deserving. Native is truly one of those spots that latch on to your tastebuds and never let go. Congrats guys!!

📍GREENVILLE, NC IS ON THE MAP! At the second annual @michelinguide American South ceremony last night Greenville’s own @nativefinediner was recognized as a Recommended restaurant with Chef/Owner @cheflukeowens in attendance to accept and celebrate! 🎉

Located in @downtowngville inside the restored former Carolina Grill Diner, a more than 100-year-old landmark in Greenville’s Historic Dickinson Avenue Arts District, Native Fine Diner blends the nostalgia of the classic American diner with a contemporary perspective on Eastern NC. Native Fine Diner reimagines classic diner fare through a contemporary, ingredient-driven lens, celebrating the farmers, fisherpeople, traditions and culinary heritage that define our region. For Owens, the work is deeply personal. Having grown up in Eastern North Carolina, he draws inspiration from the resourcefulness of the communities that shaped him and the abundance of ingredients that make the region distinctive.

Since opening, Native Fine Diner has become a standout in Eastern North Carolina’s growing dining scene, whose food culture extends far beyond barbecue, offering Greenville a restaurant that feels at once ambitious and approachable. The dining room mirrors the philosophy of the food — intentional, welcoming, and unfussy — creating a space where warm hospitality and elevated cooking exist side by side. At its core, Native Fine Diner is both a reflection of Luke’s Eastern NC roots and a statement about the future of dining in small-town North Carolina: community-driven and deeply connected to place.

Book your reservations, y’all! 💚

It is an honor and true pleasure to represent Chef Luke Owens and Native Fine Diner, Eastern North Carolina’s newest Michelin Guide Selected restaurant. A listener, collaborator, thought leader, chef, father and friend, Luke embodies some of the best client characteristics we could possibly ask for. And he’s a hell of a culinary master too. From all of us at PMM—CONGRATULATIONS!
