We're delighted to see TWO chefs from the Trencherman's Guide joining the line-up for @masterchefuk The Professionals 2026!

Flying the flag for the South West are:

🍴 Matty Grove, head chef at Caper & Cure in Bristol

🍴 Alfie Petty, chef-owner of Petty Fours in Truro

Both are featured in Edition 34 of the Trencherman's Guide, and we'll be cheering them on as they put their skills to the test.

The new series begins on BBC One and iPlayer on Tuesday November 3.

That’s a wrap at @thescrandit

Just a little reflection post to say thank you.

First and foremost, to @kruddycroyde for the immense amount of time, effort and support he’s put into getting my name out there, and for making both myself and the rest of the team feel so welcome and at home.

Secondly, to all the guests who booked in or walked through the door, took a chance on an experimental menu and gave me the opportunity to cook for you, thank you. It genuinely means a lot.

And last but certainly not least, to all the guys who made space in their calendars to come and help me during service, and to help me find staff. I really, really couldn’t have done this without you ❤️

Josh has created something really special here, and that absolutely cannot go unmentioned. The passion, dedication and energy he puts into @thescrandit is genuinely impressive, and I can’t wait to see where he takes it over the next few years.

And hopefully, I’ll get the chance to do this all again somewhere down the line!
