Today, we celebrate National Food Service Workers Day. We at Buckhead Life are grateful for a day that recognizes the people who make this industry so special.

Our Co-President and Culinary Director, Chef Pano Karatassos, has spent over thirty years in food service. Throughout those years, he has had the privilege of working alongside countless people who bring passion, dedication and heart to this industry every day.

From the kitchen to the dining room and every role in between, it’s the people who make our restaurants what they are. We’re incredibly grateful for the teams who show up every day, take care of our guests, support one another and make Buckhead Life feel like a community.

An absolutely exquisite evening at @atlantafishmarket for the @grgichhills Wine Dinner.

From the exceptional six-course menu and perfectly paired Grgich Hills wines to the stories shared by Violet Grgich, every detail was truly special.

Hearing Violet share stories of her father, Miljenko “Mike” Grgich, and his journey from Croatia to America was especially precious. His story is one of perseverance, passion, and the American dream. In 1976, Mike crafted the Chardonnay that won the famous Judgment of Paris, and just one year later, he and Austin Hills founded @grgichhillsestate in Napa Valley.

But what made the evening even more meaningful was being surrounded by the Buckhead Life family. Several guests shared heartfelt tributes to Pano Karatassos Sr., the visionary founder of Buckhead Life, and the lasting impact he continues to have on so many lives.

Exceptional food. Extraordinary wine. Beautiful stories. And a whole lot of heart.

We love our Buckhead Life family. ❤️

$Lights, Action, Masquerade 🥂 My 40s had it ALL… magazine features, infomercials, an international title, and my favorite title of all: Coco { grandma }🤍 And then there were the mega lows. Whew. Those deserve their own post.…or maybe they don’t!! I’ll just leave those right here… As I sat at the dinner table, I looked around at all of the beautiful women God has placed in my life! I am grateful for each and everyone of them 💕 Thank you so much to everyone who helped me celebrate!!! For my parents who drove from Illinois to be with me on my actual birthday a memory I will never ever forget!!!! Peiru saying I got tickets and we are going to see Lionel Richie someone that I have been wanting to see forever! @lovinglifewithlisawashington_ for planning my birthday soirée and making EVERYTHING happen!!! It was absolutely perfect. I love you!!!! @chefpano and his incredible staff at @kymaatlanta for literally rolling out the red carpet!! From the gold dusted lobster bites to the shaved truffles.
