*SWIPE TO SEE AUTOGRAPHED CARDS AND A DIECAST*

I love @charlottemotorspeedway and I love getting to spend time with wonderful people. Yesterday @chelly_kay90 and I got to take @iamlefri and @ty_c_queen to their first two @nascar races.

Pre-race was incredible. We met @c_buescher @ryanpreece_ @noahgragson Joe Gibbs, and all five @jrmotorsports drivers!

Meeting Coach Gibbs, I finally got to complete my dual autograph @bobby_labonte44 Joe Gibbs NFL Hall of Fame diecast. Chelsea also got to wear one of his super bowl rings.

If you know me, then you know @j_allgaier is my favorite driver in the O'Reilly series, and I'm ecstatic that I finally got to meet him. He even complimented my shirt and gave me a fist bump. He's easily the nicest driver I've met! @ryanblaney10 is still a close second.

The cup race was great! And so many people left during the rain, that we wound up sneaking into some fantastic seats just past the finish line for the O'Reilly race. I screamed until I lost my voice cheering for Allgaier, but he got in the wall in the closing laps and came home 4th.

I still had a fantastic time, but in 21 years of going to races, I've still never got to see my favorite driver at any time win a race in person. We've still got the cup race at @martinsvilleswy for this year. Hopefully we'll see Blaney win another clock!

Unfortunately, my camera crashed while opening the Donruss pack last week with @chelly_kay90.

HOWEVER, we did get some hits that were too cool to not share.

-@dennyhamlin Race Kings

-@connorzilisch Race Kings

-@j_allgaier Burning Rubber

-Numbered Alex Bowman Spellbound

-Numbered @kevinharvick Ride

What packs should we open next? Cards are kinda hard to find around here.

Last week was fun.

Played my first show with @lose.lose_band at @thedenshows. It's looking like they're gonna keep me around for a little while.

Went to @bowmangraystadium with @chelly_kay90 on Saturday, and @badslawfromkfc linked up with us. Had a fun time walking the pits afterwards.

Mindy showed us her new nap position.

I have no idea where life is going from here. Back to work.

Friday was a really cool experience.

I had bought tickets for @chelly_kay90 and I to go see @adamraycomedy months ago. I remembered getting the two front and center seats, but I didn't remember getting the meet & greet upgrade.

When we walked into the theater, they gave us wristbands for after the show and we were so excited.

@personofcomedy @fostercomedyclt and the opener (I feel terrible I can't remember his name) were all fantastic. Adam absolutely crushed.

Meeting Adam after the show was so cool. He took the time to meet each person/group individually and talked to them for a few minutes. He even FaceTimed my mom and sent her a signed T-shirt.

I'm always awkward about handshakes/fistbumps/hugs and which one to do, so it was really nice being greeted with a handshake and he gave us hugs when we left. He's such a genuine person and I'd recommend that anyone who likes stand-up should put him on your bucket list.

Also wanted to note that Adam is officially the only man to call my mom a bitch to her face and she didn't get mad. Only because he was talking like Phil. True legend.

Thanks for the laughs Adam!

@chelly_kay90 and I went to @comedyzoneclt last night and got to see @ajwilkersoncomedy! He was super funny and really nice. @sydnistephenscomedy and @justinwagnercomedy
both opened and were hilarious as well.

He's also the first comedian I've seen that does FREE meet and greets after his show.

I had bought our tickets under the impression that @fionacauley was supposed to be there as well, so we were a little bummed when she never came out. But Chelsea found out that Fiona is headlining in Raleigh at the end of the month, so we're getting tickets for that!

Life is hard. So many people are angry at everyone around them right now. Just go out and find a reason to smile (or laugh) for a little bit. It helps.

For those of you that don't know the story, last time @blueoctoberband played at @fillmorenc, @senecaburns played The Underground. @mattnoveskey wound up watching us play, buying a shirt, getting the band to sign my copy of Foiled, and then escorted @chelly_kay90 and I over to the big room to watch some of their show.

That was an incredible night, but we only got to watch four or five songs. It left us wanting more.

A couple of weeks ago, I heard @woodyandwilcox were giving away a pair of tickets for Blue October and @switchfoot in Charlotte. So I called in and told them the exact same story, Chris loved it and sent us the tickets.

The show was incredible, from start to finish. Chelsea and I got to meet @furstenfeldjs, @jonforeman, and waited outside the lot long after everyone else in attendance was gone just to get to properly thank Matt for our experience last year.

I caught him off guard as he was walking out of the venue, and shouted his name across the parking lot, but as soon as I said who I was, it was like old friends catching up. Matt is one of the most humble guys I've ever met. He thanked us repeatedly for coming back out to see them, and asked about what Seneca has been doing lately. That interaction was the highlight of my night.

Best wishes to the bands and all their crew over the next 30 shows. Hope to see them again sooner than later.

That’s. A. Wrap.

One whole overflowing box plus $1,200 spent on toys. Thank you to everyone who watched and donated alongside @jsadinsky @fury_58_band @familyvideomusic @devynbyrd42 and Matt Dillon for making this finale one for the books. An even bigger thank you to everyone who made our last show before hibernation something special.

It’s time to talk 10 year. As we’ve said before HFTD is stepping back until September of 2024 to record and film content. It’s a well needed break to help us catch up from always being busy and get things done on time. In September of 2024 we’ll return to the stage for our 10 year anniversary show. The HFTDecade if you would. There’s only one way to celebrate such an event and that’s with the lineup of a lifetime pulled straight from HFTD history and lore. Before we announce this please keep in mind this was THE HARDEST thing we’ve ever had to do. Everybody we’ve ever played with is special to us but these artists were around for some of the major moments of our career.

And so long as everything goes as planned this is who you’ll see:
@heftofficial
@written_in_gray
@am0rapa
@closenougheffit
@comecleannc
@senecaburns
@oyptmusic
@thehandoff_
@a_war_to_win

The date and venue aren’t set yet. If you have any suggestions please let us know where you’d like to see such an event happen. Once again there are so many people we wish we could’ve fit on this but we hope you’ll come out to celebrate this special occasion.

In the meantime, enjoy the holiday season. You can presave our newest cover “I Don’t Know What Christmas Is (But Christmastime Is Here)” Link in bio. And we’ll see you in 10 months. Thank you for everything. We love you ❤️

We had to take our ritual “after a big day nap” yesterday. @brewstock_music_festival you were unbelievable. Some of you may not know but @this_isnt_peter has been an event organizer for it for some time now and this year the whole band jumped on to help run things. From a busy, sold out day to a simmered down, beautifully imperfect acoustic set, BrewStock was an absolute blast.

BUT WHILE WERE AT IT. Everyone congratulate Christian and Chelsea with their engagement over the weekend! We’re beyond happy for the both of you and we can’t wait to celebrate Nick’s birthday at the wedding.

Thanks for hanging out with us once again. We’ll see you this Friday at NYP in Greensboro with @30isdead @mercurydimes and @americandeathcultband

I've never been one to care about cutesy fall shit, but baby, you bring it out in me. Every moment I spend with you is so surreal. Every time I get lost in watching you be you, my eyes water and I feel like my heart could pop out of my chest. You make me feel complete in a storybook way that I always thought was fictional.

You've taught me what love means @chelly_kay90, and I'm so thankful for you 🧡
