Falcon Football is grateful for the people who continue to show up for our program.

A huge thank you to Casey and Chelsea Baugh for spending time with the team and sharing a powerful motivational message, and to Chick-fil-A Lehi Pointe for providing tonight’s team meal.

Your time, generosity, and continued support of Skyridge Football are truly appreciated.

Thank you for being part of Falcon Nation.

Language matters. Putting honest words to what you have done isn’t ego. It is how a private reality becomes something you can finally see and stand on. Often the confidence doesn’t come first. The words come first, and belief grows to meet them.

Belief lags behind capability, sometimes by years. If you wait to feel worthy before you claim your work, you may wait forever. Naming it, even when it feels uncomfortable, is often what closes the gap.

The skills nobody puts on a résumé are often the ones that run everything.

We tend to separate “the home” from “the real work,” as if logistics, triage, and long-term planning only count when there’s a title attached. But the ability to hold competing priorities, stay calm through disruption, and still position people to grow is not a soft skill. It’s the whole job.

What looks like invisible labor is actually the most demanding operations role there is, and it builds the exact instincts leadership requires.

We couldn’t be happier with how things are coming together for our Summit at Thanksgiving Point! More than an event, the Summit serves as a community-wide investment in the Ella Rises young women. We’re grateful to all our sponsors, we couldn’t do this without you!

Chelsea’s path back to business school wasn’t a straight line. It was a spiritual nudge, a rejection, and a series of closed doors that eventually opened wide once she stopped waiting for certainty. The lesson underneath it is one every operator knows: the work is often just taking the next step, then the next, and trusting you’ll figure out the rest through trial and error.

She also reframes something high performers overlook. Running a household of five, navigating disruption, managing people and priorities under pressure is leadership training in its purest form. The titles change, but the skills transfer.

Real growth lives in the discomfort of doing the thing before you’re ready, whether that’s a degree, a new venture, or a philanthropic arm built from scratch.
