Under Examination Very happy to have co-curated Under Examination at Chelsea College of Arts as part of a project with Sotheby’s Institute of Art. Bringing together works by Karson Selah Samons, Wanqi Zhu, Lara Chahine, Esmé Matthews, Zili Jiang and Qiyue Huang, the exhibition explores the tension between the body as an object of observation and the body as a site of visceral experience. It was such a pleasure developing the exhibition with Isabel Emmett, Arielle Etheridge and Katarzyna Jabłońska and seeing it finally come together in the space. Under Examination Triangle Space, Chelsea College of Arts, London Until 25 September Lara Chahine- “Thrones of Earth and Heaven” 4 Lebanese monobloc chairs with metal and ceramic fixings, 2025-2026 Work in progress Qiyue Huang - “The Endometrial Archive,” 2026 Karson Selah Samons - “April Like A Dream,” 2026 35 mm slide projection, poem with sound, 5min Lara Chahine - “Bruxism,” 2026 15 x 15 x 10cm Sculpture, metal found objects Opening night!

UNDER EXAMINATION Group Exhibition To examine is to assume that something can be known. Under Examination exists where that certainty breaks down. Bringing together works by Karson Selah Samons, Zhu Wanqi, Lara Chachine, Esmé Matthews, Zili Jiang, and Qiye Huang, the exhibition explores the tension between the body as an object of observation and the body as a site of visceral experience. Across video, painting, and sculpture, the works move between memory, anxiety, violence, ecological concern, mortality, and the everyday, asking what happens when what seems distant or abstract becomes physically and psychologically immediate. 📍 Triangle Space, Chelsea College of Art 16 John Islip St, London SW1P 4RL 📅 17–25 September 2026 Opening reception: 16 September, 6–8 pm Curated by Isabel Emmett, Arielle Etheridge, Katarzyna Jabłońska & Tara Kubik

SENSAFLARE CURATES - ’Yesterday Was November 18, Tomorrow Will Be Too‘ Curated by Rusha Cheng & Zhuoran Fu (@sensaflare) Presented by Hypha Studios (@hyphastudios) 🎟️ PV: Thursday, 10th September, 6 – 9 PM 🔗 RSVP via Sensaflare’s bio 📍 Hypha HQ, Unit 3, Euston Tower, 286 Euston Road, NW1 3AS Featuring artists from Chelsea MA Fine Art (@chelseamafa), this exhibition brings together a selection of emerging practices exploring diverse perspectives, materials, and approaches to contemporary art. 👤Participating artists: Jidapa Suvanvihok (@jajidannn) Lara Chahine (@_larachahine) Hantao Zhuang (@titozzzht_) Natasha Botelho Cook (@natashaxcook) 💭 How fully do we inhabit the present? Too often, it appears only as a passage between what has been and what is yet to come, shaped by memory, anticipation and the expectation of progress. Beneath everyday sameness, slow changes continue to gather in bodies, materials and memories. Drawing on the temporal structure of Solvej Balle’s On the Calculation of Volume, the exhibition takes November 18 as a model for a present no longer organised by linear progression. In the novel, the protagonist Tara Selter becomes detached from linear time and remains within the same date, which repeats without ever becoming identical. By holding a single day open through recurrence, the exhibition asks what becomes visible when forward movement is suspended. Within this temporal framework, the nineteen artists enter the present through different material languages and experiences of memory, perception, the body and place. Across diverse media, repetition takes the form of mechanical movement and ritual gesture, layering and erosion, recurring images and motifs, and sustained acts of looking, listening and remembering, bringing subtle differences into view. Discover the participating artists and visit the exhibition at Hypha HQ. Kindly supported by @hyphastudios & @britishlandplc

a job / a career 2026 Reproduced educational documents (A4, low-cost paper), original student card. This work presents the artist’s educational documents, reprinted on ordinary A4 paper. A law degree, followed by further training and teaching certificates, marks different moments of study. Once formal objects, they are reduced to a common format used for job applications. The work reflects on education as labour, including forms of invisible labour: time, care, preparation, and the ongoing act of proving oneself. It considers the position of the artist alongside other forms of work, asking what counts as a job, and what becomes a career. Presented as part of Working Title [insert here], a collaborative exhibition between @rca_contemporaryartpractice and @chelseamafa. Special thanks to @pg_kollectiv, @aimafan_ , @ekmyerson, @neelanchalhere, @femmexy
