Nine weeks till Christmas. Here’s why that number matters. 🎄

Some treatments work in days. Others build slowly, and those are the ones that need a head start.

✨ Now: Junera, Radiesse and Sculptra. These build collagen gradually, so the sooner you start, the more time they have to work before the holidays.
✨ By early November: filler and tox. Tox takes about two weeks to fully settle, and filler can need a follow-up visit. Booking early leaves room for both.
✨ At least 2 weeks before: laser and peels. Your skin needs time to heal and flake before it’s photo-ready.
✨ The week of: HydraFacial. No downtime, just glow.

No pressure, just the calendar. If you’ve been thinking about one of the slower treatments, this is the week to plan. 🤍

You can book a laser without anyone ever asking what your skin type is.

The wavelength, the settings and the hands matter more than the name on the machine — and none of that can be decided until someone knows how your skin responds to heat.

The Fitzpatrick scale is one of the tools we use to assess that. Six types, sorted by how your skin answers the sun.

Here’s what it misses: it asks how you burn. It never asks where your family is from. Italian, Spanish, Middle Eastern, South Asian, Latin American — skin can read light on the surface and still behave deeper the moment you treat it.

Melanin absorbs laser light, so in deeper tones your skin competes with the target for that energy. That’s where burns, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and sometimes permanent pigment loss come from.

Deeper skin can absolutely be treated. It just has to be assessed first.

Next week: a real before and after of PIH. Our patient gave us permission to share it.

Swipe for all six types, and the five things to look for.

National Taco Day is a very serious debate around here 🌮😂

Taco Bueno or Taco Cabana?
Fuzzy’s or Torchy’s?

The Renew MD girls have opinions… and we definitely did NOT all agree.

Tell us down below — what are you choosing for Taco Day? 🌮

Girl. Zoom in. 🔍

12 weeks till Christmas.

We’re not telling you that to stress you out — we’re telling you because the good stuff takes time.

Junera builds for 3 to 6 months. Book it in October and you’re glowing by Christmas. Book it in December and you’re glowing by spring.

Collagen stimulators work in a series, not a session.

Filler gets done in stages. Always has.

Laser pigment work darkens before it clears — give it a week, not a weekend.

The only thing you can book the week of a party is a HydraFacial. Everything else needs a running start. 🏃‍♀️

12 weeks. Still plenty — if you start now.

📞 Call 817-678-5388 or text 817-660-7623.

Emoji quiz, but make it MedSpa 🥰

Pick your skin concern 👆

🫠 Laxity & jowls
🍅 Redness & capillaries
🍪 Brown spots & sun damage
🍄 Breakouts

Now follow your line all the way to the end. No peeking at the last slide.

Plot twist: the answers are shuffled. Your line does not go straight across. 🙃

Which is kind of the whole point — there’s no one machine that fixes everything. Laxity, redness, spots and breakouts are four completely different problems wearing the same face.

Drop your emoji in the comments and tell us where you landed. 👇

Still lost? Comment PLAN and we’ll send you the quiz.

Today we’re celebrating the woman who started it all. 🤍✨

Happy Birthday to our incredible Dr. Alex Gordon! We are so grateful for the vision, heart, and passion you bring to Renew MD every single day.

You’ve built so much more than a practice—you’ve created a team and a place where people feel cared for, heard, and confident in their own skin. Your commitment to your patients, your team, and always learning what’s next is what makes Renew MD so special.

We’re so lucky to learn from you, laugh with you, and call you our boss. 💗

And of course, what better way to celebrate than spending the day with tacos and Diet Dr Pepper… just the way Dr. Gordon would want it. 🌮🥤😂 and with her birthday crew by her side!

Help us wish Dr. Gordon the happiest birthday! We hope your day is filled with all the things you love most. You deserve it! 🤍
