We’re celebrating some of the incredible businesses that started their journey with The Little Big Markets and have gone on to build thriving local brands!

In this series, we’re catching up with past vendors to hear about their time at TLBM, their journey since, and what being part of our vendor community has meant to them.

Next up is @cheries_chat from @pepperandme 🌶️

Pepper & Me started out at The Little Big Markets and has since grown into a much-loved local business, with their range now stocked in stores across New Zealand.

We sat down with Cherie to chat about where it all started, what she learnt along the way and why she’d encourage other small businesses to give the markets a go. Vendors, every booking you make in September will put you in the draw to win a huge prize including a Pepper and Me pack!

We love seeing where our vendors’ journeys take them, and we can’t wait to share more of their stories with you.

Thinking about joining us this summer? Vendor applications are now open ☀️

Okay, this one feels pretty special 🥹🌶️📖

To celebrate 10 years of @pepperandme , the incredible @cheries_chat brought together recipes from friends, family and people who have been part of the Pepper & Me story to create POTLUCK - and somehow, I got to be one of them! 🥹

I was incredibly honoured to be asked to contribute one of my own recipes using some of my favourite Pepper & Me goodies, and seeing it actually printed in a cookbook is a very surreal little pinch-me moment.

POTLUCK is exactly what you’d expect from Pepper & Me - real, bloody delicious food made for sharing. It’s packed with weeknight staples, entertaining favourites and recipes you’ll actually want to cook again and again.

And yes… you can now officially own a cookbook featuring a recipe by yours truly 😂👨🏼‍🍳

POTLUCK by Cherie Metcalfe & Friends is available now at LOUIS & MAX, in store and online for $49.95.

A huge congratulations to Cherie and the Pepper & Me team on 10 incredible years. Thanks for letting me have a little place at the table ❤️🌶️
